We started with saketini which is sake and cucumber vodka. This was delicious! We then had the seared tuna appetizer which was good but typical. Although the entree selection was vast we stuck with sushi rolls and soup. All very good. Our server, Joe, was great. He appeared every time we needed something. The ambiance was loud and a bit... Cool ambiance, great service, fun specialty drinks, and mouth-watering food! I've visited this place for different reasons - family dinner, ladies night, and even an interview dinner - was not disappointed ANY time!

I go here for lunch often with coworkers and always love the food. My favorite is the stone pot bibimbab (sp?)!

I visited Kooma two times in last two months. The service has been excellent both times. The rolls are fresh and tasty. I was seated immediately, no wait. A vibrant group of patrons and a relaxed atmosphere.

My friends and I frequent the bars and restaurants in WC often. On two separate occasions our experience at Kooma was less than desirable. Our first experience left our stomachs turning after we were served mixed drinks with gnats floating in the glasses. To top it off, the bartender didn't bother to remove the drinks from our final bill. After... More

Best sushi and sashimi. Always fresh. Great for gathering of friends to share or couples. Can get loud on Friday and Saturday evenings

We enjoyed spicy tuna roll, Volcano, Wilmington and Hawaiian rolls along with Yaki Udon with tofu and the spicy chicken stone pot bibimbab. EXPENSIVE but delicious and wonderful service. As for the sushi, a previous favorite among our party, the Hawaiian, has lost favor. The fruit doesn't seem the great contrast it has in the past. Hugely surprising was the... More

First thing to know - if you have been in West Chester in a while - Kooma moved its location. Second thing is to ensure you have reservations. Third - make sure you feed the parking meters. The atmosphere is interesting - bar scene is more just a holding pen for dinner guests waiting for a table. The wait staff... More

Great interior lighting and creativity give Kooma a feel far beyond it's West Chester location. However, it seems the owners have kept focus on ambiance, and lost the focus on food. The prices are beyond "small town" sushi, and the quality remains small town. Most nigiri is priced at $3 / piece and up. Veggie rolls are $4.25 with something... More

Avoiding the low quality pre fix valentines day dinner, my wife and I decided on Kooma for a late lunch/early dinner. What a great choice! We shared sushi and wine. The owner stopped by to see how our lunch was going. nice!
