Best Fries I have had in a long time! Can't wait to get them next year! My daughter and I split an order of bacon and cheese fries since they were so big. SOOO worth the $8.00.

Potato patch was always my favorite attraction at kennywood. It's gone down a bit but still have to get the fries when i go. I think the changes in all the cooking oils everywhere has compensated the taste in lots of places including this one. Portions seem a bit smaller than before ownership change. Price is higher but expected in... More

So, I'll just say it! These fries are not cheap. $6.50 for an order? Maybe I'm old, but this is a lot for fried potatoes. That being said, however, they are REALLY good! I got mine plain this time, but usually I can't resist the cheddar cheese sauce (older and [usually] eating healthier!). Just like I remember from my childhood.... More

If you have never gone to Kennywood in October your missing out. The staff is so skilled at makeup and costume you would swear you were at a motion picture movie set. The zombies just are the best!

The potato patch, as a rule I go there first, it's not as good as it was when they first opened it years ago, you can get fries at other places in the park, but there's are, covered with, a variety of options, garlic salt, gravy, cheese, etc. When they first opened the fries where like wages giving them a... While you visit Kentwood Park you must stop at the Potato Patch. First of all they are homemade fresh fries. Second you get a lot of them. They are fried just right and a little greasy. You can top them with cheese if you like, it is a little more. But if you like cheese, they don't cheat on that... More

This is a Kennywood tradition and a classic item that they serve hot out of the fryer with many toppings of your choice. You actually watch them take whole potatoes and turn them into some of the best fries around the region. Eat them plain, or with a multitude of toppings like cheese, salts, bacon, etc. One order of these... More

The highschooler that waited on my family was very rude and unhelpful the seating was ridiculously dirty and very hard to find enough seating to fit six people. I am very sad to see the potato patch and Kenny what is the whole going downhill very quickly this park simply no longer cares about its customers!

Should be named the Grease Pit or Heart Attack Central. I wouldn't mind if they tasted great but they were just ok. The concrete floor of the area where the tables are to eat is so greasy you could slip and fall if it's raining - they should power wash it on occasion.
