Walked in and hostess/waitress was rude. Said she had no help. Really not my problem and no reason to take it out on your customers. Went to order, and it’s BYOB. Really? Place is also filthy so we left.

Great food fast service. Had to pick up our order because of the pandemic. They were super friendly . Food was hot when picked up. Burgers are amazing

One of the best places to get wings in the valley. Always great service, and a decent size menu. One of my favorites!

It's called The Chicken Coop. GET THE WINGS. They are delicious. They are never busy at lunch, from what I've seen, and the wings are cooked to order and worth the wait. The waitress that is always working at lunch is super nice. I stop...in every time I'm in WB.More

Was looking for a place in wilkes Barre for pizza and wings. For some reason a lot of places are closed on Mondays. Settled on Chicken Coop due to good reviews and that it was open on Monday. Got wings and pizza. The wings were...large and hot. The medium buffalo sauce was a tad on the vinegary side to me. Otgerwise they were good. Not great. What I don't get is this fascination with Old Forge style pizza in this area. I get it. Small town claiming to be the pizza capital of the world. But the square pizza thing isn't new and the thick crust sliced into square "cuts" reminds me of high school pizza lunches. If you like eating pizza on bread, that's what this is like. Crispy on bottom but thick like bread. Red sauce is sweet. I'd say it's average pizza at best. I'd come back for the wings if in the area but I will pass on this pizza and all Old Forge Style pizza, frankly. I prefer thin NY style crust.More

This was our second visit and although the place is very offputting, the food was great both times. Definitely a local dive in Wilkes barre, but the food is worth a stop.

Chicken Coop has the best wings ever. Was a little disappointed with the mild wings, but that was just my taste. The hot wings are cooked to perfection. Always bring some home. They are delicious heated over a few days as well. The loaded fries...do not disappoint either.More

The Chicken Coop is one of my favorite restaurants in Wilkes-Barre. Their wings and burgers are excellent. They have an expansive menu with lots of variety. It's a sports bar, so I like to go to watch football and enjoy burgers.

Looked for a local place close to the office we were at. 3 minutes down the road I located The Chicken Coop. I was in the mood for wings and this place had good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The chicken wings tasted fresh and crispy...with lots of sauce. I had Asian Ginger and my husband ordered Mild Garlic. My only regret was getting onion rings instead of French fries. If we had fries we would have dipped them in the wing sauce! The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive. Even though the place looks like a bar, there were 2 families with children. Definitely a place for the family. If I'm ever in Wilkes-Barre again I want to go back.More

Went with a large group (grandparents, kids, and grand kids). Ordered many types of wings. They were great. Huge variety. Cooked perfect. A couple of our group sandwiches. The Pittsburgh and the Sloppy Old Chicken. These are the size of human heads. The sandwiches were...great, on really delicious bread. It's a sports bar setting. So with family best to go at not peak hours. This was our third visit over the years. We will return, when we are in town.More
