Yardley Inn continues to show they are the class restaurant in the area. On a Wednesday night you expect a slightly slower night but what we found was a packed bar area with most dinning tables occupied . There was a pre set dinner menu that offered one price meal for complete dinner. Appetizer to dessert. Needed to be there... More

Visited Pennsylvania State border to meet our friends and had booked Yardley Restaurant due it's its historical story and predominately good reviews. We arrived and seated by courteous staff. Ordered starts (Crab soup/Steammed Salmon and dessert. (Tiramisù not great taste). Starter arrived 25mins later. Huge portion but little attention to detail. Never mind, main was the star attraction. Arrived 5... More

The Filet Mignon was tender and tasty. Potatoes and vegetables were good also. This restaurant has a bar so you can purchase wine to go with your dinner. Restaurant is on the river so you can enjoy a water view if you request it and get there early. They have specials if you arrive early. If you like to talk... More

Great place to socialize, especially in the bar area. The best bartenders, (Frank & Kristy) along with the best drinks anywhere in the area. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is out of this world. If in the area, you should make a point to stop in.

I have held 3 private events at this restaurant, and take clients here often. I have ALWAYS had a good meal and good service. My private parties have always been well serviced and very organized. I am not sure what was going on with the "awful"review from Donna D....but she must have had a bad day or their must have... More

They want you to be satisfied/happy but....the food is awful, and the chef is arrogant. How does he come up with these concoctions? He obviously does not sample them or he would know that they are awful. If you want a plain meal it is definitely worth the try, but if you are looking for anything more, you will be... More

Most inns on the Delaware are tourist traps relying on their quaintness and views but offering just acceptable food at high prices. The Yardley Inn is a relative standout. We went for brunch on a Sunday. The place was buzzing with locals as well as visitors, setting and ambiance were good and menu included the typical brunch offerings.Competent omelette, huevos rancheros and chop salad.service friendly... really enjoy dining here. The luncheon specials are great and so are their early bird specials. This makes our dinning experience even nicer, not to mention the food is very good.

Beautiful environment but a bit overpriced for the amount of food you get. Had the chicken, and that was a bit under cooked.
