We had the smoked salmon sandwich. It was delicious. It was worth the price. The bread and cucumber were fresh. It was not canned salmon.

We enjoyed the food at Plouf Plouf while at the Fieldstone Summer Showcase horse show this week. The food was a great alternative to normal horse show fare, but Monsieur Plouf Plouf needs to remember that he's in the hospitality business. Quelle arrogance! And this wasn't a one-time experience. I witnessed his rude demeanor with each customer who not only... More

Plouf Plouf has started coming to Barrington on Thursday and Friday evenings, parked outside of Grapes and Grains, our favorite boutique wine shop. We are thrilled about this development but have to give our first experience mixed reviews. We ordered two "artisanal" salads. They were wildly underdressed, so much so that I can't even review the house raspberry vinagrette. At... More

This fake, overpriced French food is a disaster. Paid 22$ (!) at their recommendation for a ugly brown crepe with two scallops, over-cooked pasty rice, two pieces of what looked like black paper... ugh. $22??!! I would be hard pressed to eat it for free.

Plouf Plouf Gastronomie catered my brother's wedding and I was shocked at how good the food was. I've had food from food trucks quite a bit, but never at a wedding. I had the Steak con frites (sorry for the spelling) and it was simply amazing. The Steak was cooked to perfection and was complemented well by the con frites... More

Great French food from a truck? Better believe it. Escargot, confit de canard, bouchee a la reine, rum soaked bread pudding. Real pomme frites, and yes, they have ketchup... At Bristol farmers market on Saturday mornings, Waterman and Thayer in Providence for dinners. Follow them on facebook and Twitter.
