My daughter and I recently had dinner at Trio while spending the night in Narragansett. We had great service and our meal was delicious. Daughter had a burger which she really enjoyed, and I had one of the daily specials which was a monkfish entree - excellent. The complimentary bread was just average

I love Trio and all the wonderful folks who work there. My experience is consistently wonderful there. I travel the country and have the pleasure to dine in so many great places and Trio is right up there with them. Thank you.

We went to Trio in Narragansett for Restaurant Week and it was truly a wonderful evening. From the minute you walk in they tend to make you feel that you are very important to them. Greeted so warmly, our reservations were timely and we were seated at a lovely table by the fireplace. The menu selections on the Restaurant Week... More

My son and I were staying at Aqua Hotel for the night for a URI campus visit. We checked in at 7pm on a Monday evening and were starving, so we decided to head to Trio which is right by the hotel. Honestly, we weren't expecting much, so we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful Trio was! There's a great... More

Overall we liked Trio but there were a few hiccups. It was a Friday night and busy. However all restaurants know Fridays are busy and should be prepared. It took awhile to get our drinks, awhile to get our appetizers and awhile to get our meal. Not uncomfortably long but we all commented things were a bit slow. Service was... More

Decided to check out the new bar that was constructed during January. If you enjoy eating at a bar, the new one is much better than the previous one. Big rectangle in the middle of the room. Food and service were great once again

My husband and I went where yesterday to celebrate Valentine's Day. The red sangria was good. Suffies were pretty good and were made with actual clam pieces. The shrimp with risotto was very average tasting and the risotto was undercooked. The waitress was notified, and didn't seem to care. The steak frites was average tasting, I requested the Parmesan cream... More

Dear Tina0804, I read your review of Trio with great concern and I apologize for your sub-standard experience with us. Poor attention to detail and lackluster food is not the hallmark of Trio, nor any Newport Restaurant Group location. I hope you will consider giving me a call directly at the restaurant so that I can learn more about your... More

Trio offers a wonderful casual dining experience with a varied menu and season oriented specialty drinks, an extensive wine list, and other beverages. We have dined at Trio many times, most recently this past week. The greeting was warm and friendly. The service was very good, attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu. We enjoyed our Tuna Tartar appetizer, our entrée,... More
