The great food ( we had a burger, fries, salad, a pastrami sandwich, coffee and a piece of Boston cream pie) brought us back to the good old days. It is hard to believe they can serve all this for $12.37. Even with a better than 20% tip for friendly efficient service, lunch was a delicious bargain.

You can't have just one! Their roast beef is so juicy and delectable that you have to have another. Although, if you get fries and small salad on the side, you can do with one sandwich. Try the simple homemade desserts too, if you have to satisfy your sweet tooth!Great food, quaint setting, fast service. What else can I say...Oh... More

We had a group of 7 people from 10 years old to almost 50. We had chicken fingers fries roast beef sandwiches and burgers of all types. One person tried the soup and we even tried the chips. Everyone loved their meal. The price can not be beat! Great deals on great food. My niece is a Bryant student and... More

The food is good, we had a steak sandwich (not shaved steak. but a piece of real steak, no, it wasn't prime tenderloin), and a roast beef sandwich, as well as house made potato chips, and coffee. Total about $13., pretty good. The potato chips were the only thing that was questionable in taste, price and quantity. Everything else was... More

Very Old fashioned place typical of dairy bars that were common at one time throughout New England. Fast service but there can be a wait if it's busy they do both take out and dine in simple menu but well done. The roast beef sandwiches are flavorful and not dry. The milkshakes is a refreshing choice because they're just the... More

We took our son and his girlfriend to the Beef Barn for lunch after a trip to Wrights Bakery on a lazy Sunday...He hadn't been in many years and she didn't really know the area. We went with the classic beef sandwiches and split a couple of orders of fries and a sliced barrel pickle. Grilled bun and beef were... More

Excellent roast beast sandwiches (no fat and gristle). Burgers, hot dogs, etc. Limited menu but good food and very inexpensive. How good is that! If you have kids, they will love the chicken coop. It's a very good paper plate family restaurant type place.
