Out of state party of two ordered fish and chips. Waited 30 minutes for them to arrive. At first look, the portions appeared huge. Upon cutting into one piece of fish, the batter was extremely heavy. I've never seen or tasted fish and chips served this way. The bulk of the meal is maybe 70% batter and 30% fish. Both... More

Just that. Clearly food for elders who've lost their taste buds. Bar service was barely acceptable. This is not Rhode Island's finest by any stretch.

The Wharf Tavern sits right of Narraganset Bay, with a great view of the bay and marina. It's a modern, but classic facility. The wait staff was a little slow, but everything we ordered came hot and was tasty. One drawback is the parking area which is, gravel with many potholes, especially problematic in the rain. The chowder & bisque... More

The meals were skimpy but the prices were heafty. The stuffed lobster had no lobster, in spite of the menu indication that 1/4 pound was used in the stuffing. The stuffing consisted of only large pieces of Ritz Crackers. The $20 lobster sandwich was put on a small hotdog type bun. First and last visit for us.

We stood for five minutes at the hostess station before anyone waited on us. When she finally arrived, we asked to be seated outside. It's a lovely view, but the service was awful and the food sub-par. The calamari was thrown on a plate and didn't even fill it. It looked like the other half was missing. The clam chowder... More

On a whim, we decided to sail over from East Greenwich for brunch. We called ahead to see if we had to reserve dock space, but they said no. We got there and easily docked in front of people dining on the outside deck. We sat in the shady deck which was lovely. The brunch had lots to chose from,... More

I have been to this restaurant many times. I have been for Sunday brunches which I would highly recommend and I have been for dinner multiple times. The menu has many options to choice from and the food is delicious. I enjoyed the stuffed shrimp and filet combo last visit and I would highly recommend the dish. I would recommend... More

Nothing I hate more, then being all dressed up for dinner or a party and sweating because a restaurant caters to "cold people". I will never go here in the heat of sumner again! Was here in May for a graduation party & watched everyone fan themselves & sweat while trying to eat & converse. Horrible! Last night, my sister... More
