Stopped for lunch. Very small menu, limited beer list, limited wine list. However, the shrimp and artichoke dip and the Twisted Caesar salad were very good. Very pleasant setting, nicely appointed, first class. Servers were very accommodating, one of our entrees, a soup, was not...More

Our hotel (City Loft) recommended the Wren and we were glad we went. The food was great and the service top notch.

Convenient location, near city center. Good food, but not exceptional. Good service. Moderate-high pricing. Attractive interior. Certainly worth a visit, but not 'to die for'.

We were a party of seven who arrived with reservations. We were promptly seated. The menu is somewhat limited. The menus were showing signs of wear and did not make the impression one would expect considering the favorable reviews this bistro has received. I ordered...More

We came across this little treasure while looking for a lunch stop while walking the historic district. We were glancing at sidewalk menus, and we knew this one was the last we wanted to read. Nice decor, good wait staff, delicious food. Had we not...More

My husband and I have been to Wren a few times for lunch. Always good food and good service. The chicken salad is the best!

We had a terrific dinner here. Loved the shrimp and grits - never had it before but this was delicious and creamy! Also the fried green tomato stack appetizer was scrumptious! My husband loved his meat loaf too.

The sauce on these fried green tomatoes is killer. Smokey, bacony, really good. I had shrimp and grits which were quite good. Honey had meatloaf which he says was delicious along with the side of carrots. Frites were a little dissapointing, but nothing to cause...More

Sat at the bar and ordered drinks, app, dinner. Nice bartender, really good fried green tomatoes. We wanted something Southern, so we got the shrimp and grits, and it was phenomenal. The sauce on it was kind of creamy with bacon. Best ever. I would...More

Thank you for your interest. We are closed both Sunday and Monday. If you are still in town a walk from your hotel would be a few blocks. Hope to see you soon!

Description
Wren Bistro and Bar is a locally owned and operated restaurant and bar that features an ever evolving menu for both lunch and dinner. The kitchen uses delicious locally caught seafood, great cuts of steak, juicy chicken, and tasty pasta dishes. The portions are enormous (the 18 oz ribeye, and the 12-14 oz burgers for example!) and are easily big enough to share. We compliment the lunch and dinner menus with a staff of professional servers and bartenders who are very knowledgeable, always courteous, and very entertaining. The décor is elegant, yet modern and hip. So, if you and yours are looking for a great experience, and even better food, come check us out anytime Monday through Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Reservations are not required, but always welcomed!
