Amazing meal in Charleston. Everything was on point. Atmosphere, service, food, wine selection, etc. Authentic Italian experience. If I lived in Charleston it would be hard not to go here ALL THE TIME! Every single dish we ordered was phenomenal. Prices were not bad either. When we come back to Charleston, this is the first reservation I am making. JUST... More

Who knew you could get a great steak at an Italian restaurant? I got an excellent steak with great flavor. I went with my family and they ordered pasta and they loved it. The server was attentive and thoroughly described the food once it was set in front of us. Overall, excellent food and service!

Omg, this place was unbelievably good. We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation on a busy Friday night and we seated immediately. Scott, our waiter, was engaging, personable and very helpful. Everything we had, from appetizers through desserts, was perfectly prepared. All were delicious - some of the best food we've had. We were so pleased.

This is one of the best meals that you will have in Charleston! It is a bit out of the way from the downtown area, but well worth the visit. The pasta is homemade as is pretty most everything on the menu. I had a lobster dish in pasta and a red sauce that was superb and not stingy on... More

We debated dining so far from our hotel; then it rained, so walking was out. And the taxis too and fro made the adventure more interesting but DO go out of your way to enjoy pasta and great specials at the terrific iCal Italian restaurant. The night before the Bridge Run, it was the perfect spot to slip away from... More

A bit delayed in this review as we were there in November. Many good restaurant choices in Charleston but Trattoria Lucca gets my vote for best overall experience. Quaint and relaxed, the ambiance was very nice. Derrick, our server, was pleasant & knowledgeable....excellent service. Food was fantastic. We had the tagliolini, pork and cheesecake. Highly recommend this restaurant and if... More

We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant this past week. The food is excellent, service was friendly. The pasta is made fresh daily and served with quality fresh ingredients. My only regret is that it took us so long to finally try Trattoria Lucca. We are big fans of Coda de Pesce on IOP. Highly recommend both of these... More

We enjoyed this great restaurant with our family. We thought they served the freshest and best bread that we had in Charleston! We thought that the house-made pasta was fantastic! The waitstaff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all the menu offerings.

We were excited try this very well respected restaurant. Love the atmosphere. Lovely and cozy inside. Friendly staff. We all were disappointed in our food. My beet appetizer was overpoweringly citrusy. All one note really. My daughters salad with hazelnuts tasted like Nutella. My husbands pasta was very lemony, almost to the point of overpowering . I found the waiter... More

Absolutely outstanding. Exceeded expectations. Italian to the core. Pasta made daily in house. Selective menu changed frequently. Imaginative, superbly cooked. Excellent collection of Italian wines, including reasonably priced ones. Well informed efficient service people. Lovely room with well-spaced tables with small bar and community table. A great experience in every way.
