First, the food was good--not great. The she crab soup, grits, Charleston red rice, all fine but not memorable. The tomato pudding surprisingly tasty, but since I've never had tomato pudding before, I have nothing to compare it too. The service was great, the setting...More

we had a very nice lunch here. The food was good. Really liked the mac and cheese, the chicken salad sandwich was forgettable. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Great atmosphere. Cute old house. Very popular. We got there about 8:45 on a Saturday morning and didn’t have to wait. But it quickly filled up and then there was a long wait! Grits were good. Biscuits very good. Gravy had peppers in it -...More

We went for a late breakfast. There was a 40 minute wait (outside in the drizzle), but the food & service is DO worth it! Hubs had his usual - the Big Nasty (chicken breast on biscuit smothered in a very unique gravy). On this...More

This place is very cut and we really wanted to like it more. Unfortunately, there were several missteps, including an omelette that had to be remade as it was stone cold when it arrived. Getting a second mimosa took way to long for just pouring...More

We read a lot of great reviews about the food at Hominy Grill but were very disappointed. The shrimp are just boiled and the grits are plain with no cheese but do have a minuscule amount of sliced mushrooms and onions. Honestly, don’t know what...More
