The food was excellent, as was the service. This noisy place with an open kitchen is top notch. Do not miss the apple pie for dessert....It is fantastic!

After going to some so-called "top" restaurants and being disappointed, I went to Slightly North of Broad (AKA SNOB) for dinner and was blow away. Surprisingly diverse menu with things such as Venison tornados as a starter (must have), one of the best carpaccio in...More

This restaurant is wonderful. The Reuben sandwich was great. The salad was very good. We've never seen such hard working staff. We felt very welcome here

We had a delicious meal at the chef's table, and really enjoyed the bartender. He gave us good advice the night before, which endeared him to us.

I loved the name of this place. Realized I'd been here before. Amazing menu and as southern as it gets. Wish we lived near by and could eat like a local just enjoying apps and soups and wine.

what a great lunch! Nice friendly place with a very lively, friendly crowd. Was probably the most expensive lunch I've ever had, but was worth it!

One of the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. Pork belly was INSANE. We were late for our reservation and they went out of their way to fit us in, even though it was our error. Highly recommend!

I had the pear and ginger sangria and it was refreshing and tasty. It is famous for the shrimp and grits which was ok but nothing to die for.

We love SNOB, and just disappointed that our most recent experience was such a let down. Started at the bar. Service was slow. Went to our table. Service was even slower. As it turned out our waitress became bogged down by a large table of...More

The dining room is light and open. They have a very large assortment of items to choose from. I ordered their House Cured Corned Beef Reuben sandwich. I have had many over the years, but none as good as this one. It had a lot...More

While we do not have customer parking, there are metered spaces along East Bay Street and a parking garage just behind us, at the corner of Cumberland and Concord Streets.

This is probably too late. Sorry, I didn't see your question. The restaurant is wide open so it can be a bit noisy but as a party of 2 we had no trouble conversing.

Description
Slightly North of Broad is a Lowcountry bistro that brings together an abundance of local ingredients and thoughtful, expert presentation with a friendly, contagious energy. Here the dining room is a natural extension of the kitchen, a place where culinary skill, a clever, considered wine program, warm service, and conversations meld together. Our local farmers, fishermen and producers are as integral to the food we make as they are to our place in this community.
