Was able to only wait a few minutes to get a table. The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. Food was A little overprice for what you got. You are paying for The souther charm.

I happened to be lucky enough to eat here during restaurant week, so I had the chance to sample 3 amazing courses here. Every dish I had was full of flavor and perfectly unique combinations. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive. An excellent, nice place to eat.

Only had one night in Charleston and to our delight it was restaurant week. We did some research online and thought that this was the place to visit. We never thought to make a reservation. We arrived & after a few minute we were seated. The food was phenomenal and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant... More

We stopped in for lunch when the place we'd intended to go was closed -WHAT LUCK!! Our intent was a '"light" lunch, but everything was so delicious, we just couldn't stop. We started with the mac & cheese appetizer which was an unexpected delight! Then we shared the crab soup- really creamy and a nice amount of meat. My husband... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Magnolias during restaurant week. They had a great prix fixe menu. The food was complex with a great blend of flavors. Our server Caitlin was so friendly and efficient! Her recommendation of the Pecan Pie Cake was spot on. It was one of the most delicious desserts my husband and I have ever eaten!

My brother-in-law is a "foodie" and this was his recommendation for a southern cuisine experience and it was an excellent call. Our server, Elizabeth, was helpful and pleasant. The wine list is well done, with a thoughtful range of wines and some varietals you don't often see on a restaurant wine list. Two of us had the fried chicken breast,... More

We followed the restaurant recommendation of a friend, and boy, what a great suggestion. We were seated right away, even though we were a few minutes early for our reservation. Our server Greg was knowledgeable and charming, and his suggestions were spot-on. I had blue crab bisque, which was very tasty, and the buttermilk fried chicken breast. It may have... More

My family tried this restaurant per recommendation of my daughter's friends. The food was excellent (pork chop and short ribs were the best). Just make sure you make your reservations early because the restaurant was packed. Parking as in any downtown city is a challenge but not impossible.

Atmosphere: Unpretentious decor with lots of warmth, space and large beautiful paintings of magnolias. Our servers were very attentive and gave great advice Food: Where to start? We opted out of the Restaurant week menu, although We wanted to get their true staple dishes. The fried green tomatoes were highly recommended, and the best we've had. 3 big chunks of... More

The service was good and the restaurant looks nice. Unfortunately the fish was over cooked and dry. Would also say it was over prized.
