We drove to Charleston on a day trip while visiting Myrtle Beach. It was our first time being to Charleston and we experienced the best food we've had on our whole trip. We were exploring the market and happened upon this little gem of a restaurant as we're looking for a place to sit down and eat. We were reluctant... More

I just can't see how this place has been in business for so long. Last night was my first trip and I won't go back. I'm in town with my sister, nephew, and mother and we decided to eat there. We arrived around 7 pm. There were only about 3 tables with people at them. The waitress came to our... More

This is a small, casual bar/restaurant downtown in Charleston. The waiter was friendly and efficient. The food is tasty in a nice pub atmosphere.

This was a take out as I live but a block from the restaurant. We had a gyro sandwich and an oyster poboy. The gyro was average the poboy nearly uneatable.

My wife and I decided to take a shuttle drivers advice and try this place. I wish we wouldn't have. The calamari was greasy and tough. The salads over dressed, and the bacon wrapped shrimp were dry. I had lamb that was very average. Not my choice.

Had the gyro plate for dinner. Perhaps our group visited the restaurant a little late after 'regular' dinner time, but the meats were all dried up from being overcooked.

As a classic Charleston restaurant establishment, one would expect expertise and authentic meal experience. Unfortunately, I tend to agree with others here stating that they are falling short. We have traveled extensively and had quite delicious and fresh Greek food. This was not the case this evening. We have had quite good Greek locally in NC and SC. It can... More

Horrible experience! My order came out for one thing wrong and over cooked for the part that came out correctly, as was my father's. Server was rarely seen and after finally asking for the manager twice, the manager whose name was Athan, was very rude and condescending and barely gave me a chance to explain why I was complaining. This... More

The four of us have eaten all over the world, good bad and really ugly. This supposedly classic Charleston restaurant fell into the last category. Not only was the food ugly, it was inedible as well. If you like your fried oysters to resemble and taste like lumps of brick, then this is your place. Cleanliness is third world and... More

Ate here for lunch. Wife had spaghetti with bad meatballs (meat not fresh). I had the Poboy with oysters. It is a shame how they dare to serve such good ingredients and make very untasteful and greasy mess of it. Waiter was not friendly. Never again!
