We asked a local about a restaurant which was across the street from where we were standing and he suggested we go to Fleet Landing, which was only a couple of blocks away. Additionally, he highly recommended the Triggerfish sandwich. I had the Triggerfish sandwich and my wife had the swordfish. WOW!! That Triggerfish sandwich was addictive. It was blackened... More

The atmosphere and food was very good. Our waiter was not as attentive as he could have been but it was an enjoyable experience.

The restaurants was located at the end of the pier. The view was great!!! My husband and I had dinner there two nights in a row. We were there early for happy hour 4-6 and ordered oysters on the half shelves. They were fresh and yummy!!! The beer and cocktails were good. Kudos to the bartenders! My husband had the... More

Overall, we loved being able to sit outside and eat and enjoy the waterfront. Only got a 1/2 dozen of raw oysters due to the cost. The cocktails were good. The entrees were good but a little pricey.

We were in the Charleston area, searching for a a good restaurant to eat dinner at, and many people reccomended Fleet Landing to us. We walked to Fleet Landing, surprised that not many cars were there, after hearing such good things about the place. On our way in, an elderly couple was walking out, looking upset. "It's not worth it,"... More

They have a terrific menu with many choices and draft beers. if possible, eat on the outside deck on the water. This restaurant is busy, but our wait was only 20 minutes without a reservation for lunch. I would suggest reservations for dinner.

This has been a must stop for us for every year when in Charleston for St. Patrick's day weekend. David, our waiter, provided really excellent service and made sure that we had a great meal. He recommended the fresh catch of the day, which was Swordfish, and to prepare it blackened. It was was really good. My wife had the... More

Our party of six called three hours before we wanted a reservation. It isn't ideal, but we still tried. We called twice and left a message once. No one returned our call. We waited an hour for a table, which was our choice. But it *seemed crazy because we watched several tables sit open for 15-20 min before being filled.... More

One of the locals recommended Fleet Landing to my husband and I. We were not disappointed. Located at the end of a pier, even if the food wasn't excellent, the view would make it worth the visit. However, the food was wonderful. We split the hushpuppy appetizer-stuffed with shrimp and rock lobster. He had oysters and I had shrimp. Both... More

She crab soup was exceptional, but I had to ask for the sherry. My spinach salad was good; however the grilled shrimp add on was barely grilled. My wife had a combo fried shrimp and flounder. They were both good, but the flounder was tremendous. The fries came cool and that was disappointing. Would not likely return.
