Although there were few people in the restaurant, our party of 5 waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for food after ordering. Although, we were served our appetizer right away. We were told by our server that the kitchen / bar was backed up, yet the place was not busy. The wings were mediocre and the burger and wraps were... More

Service is horrible. Sat 10 minutes before order. Asked hostess, said didn't have waiter yet. Hostess said we weren't here that long and walked off. Other seated after us were served. Left without ordering

We use CAH to host our kickoff party for Tartan Day South Celtic Festival and Highland Games. The staff is pleasant and the food is very good. Great place for an evening of Celtic music and Guinness

Our visit today was an experience that I can't believe would happen at a restaurant the size of Carolina Ale House. We were greeted and seated in a professional manner but that was the last time we saw professionalism. After setting for some time with no one speaking to us another served offered to get us drinks while we waited.... More

I should have known better. I ordered the grilled wings thinking the fat would be more drained off. They were disgusting-almost undercooked and the skin tasted raw. Never again.

Went there Saturday night before a concert to eat. The service was good and the food was great. I would recommend the Spinach dip with the pita bread for an app!!!

We went here on a Friday evening for dinner. Service was slow to average. I had their signature burger, which was just OK. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich, which was so salty that she couldn't finish it. On the good side, the prices were reasonable, and there were lots of TV's for days with lots of sports (not... More

With metered spaces prevailing in this part of the Vista, it’s nice to be able to park your car free in the lot next to the restaurant. Carolina Ale House opens at 11:00 am, so we were able to arrange an early lunch meeting with some friends. I enjoyed my Rueben ($8.59) and my wife liked her chicken quesadilla ($9.29).... More

Always clean and inviting, a great place to get together with friends for light fare and reasonable drinks. They do serve generous portions.

Carolina Ale house has a delicious rib eye steak. The service is great. If you are interested in eating at a college type restaurant this is it!
