Ate here during The Masters. We had not booked and so no designated tables available. We were offered a table at the bar. This did not detract from the service we received. Food was very good. Best tasting Italian style food I have eaten in a long time.

My wife and I had not been in this restaurant for about 4 or 5 years. My wife and I went on our Sat date night. The bartender made a superlative Manhattan, Her dish was a past with oven dries tomatoes and Italian compound cheese, (buffalo mozarrella ) and a white wine sauce it was called Maltagliati. I attended a board meeting dinner in the loft which is The upstairs part of the restaurant. I had read the reviews and was somewhat disappointed. We only had four choices for an entrée as well as two choices for a salad and three choices for dessert. I had ordered the scallop and shrimp on risotto which was pretty good.... More

I was recently there for a business dinner in the Loft. It was a set menu. First off we were not allowed to pick an appetizer. There were three choices and the tomato bisque was not offered. They just brought out the baked brie ( no crackers to go with it) and tomato bruschetta which was good. My NY strip... More

We went to Ristorante Divino to celebrate a friends birthday and I left with food poisoning. I ordered the Gorgonzola Gnocchi and about half way through my meal something about the taste just hit me wrong, I couldn't finish my meal. I almost immediately got the gurgles. By the time I made it home my stomach started cramping terribly and... More

Very professional staff. Was friendly and helpful in wine selection. We had a reservation and seated quickly. The service was slow but steady. I hope everyone has the same experience as I did. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

This place was small compared to others we visited in downtown Columbia. Service was cheerful and competent. Specials of the day were excellent. Good menu, not huge but adequate. Might be a really busy place on the weekends so call ahead for reservations.

We were a business party of 6. Divino has been a very good restaurant for business dinners in Columbia for a long time. It had probably been 5 years since I last visited. Without question it is still doing a great job. Our group ordered everything from fish, veal and beef and it was all outstanding. The stuffed peppers and... More

Ristorante Divino is probably the most elegant restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina. The chef is a culinary artist with roots from Como, Italy. He is creative in the preparation and presentation of every dish. The ambiance is high class. The staff is very professional and most attentive.
