My girlfriend and i frequent Flying Saucer about once a month for Trivia. She is the brains and i am the brawn. That said, we enjoy playing trivia and eating the German dishes along with downing draft beer. We have a good time every time we go and the prices are very fair, especially given the quality of the nachos... More

The Flying Saucer is a great location for a quick lunch, dinner or drink if you are going to a basketball game or at the state capitol. You can sit at picnic tables in a outdoor covered area (but there is smoking allowed) or go inside (where there is no smoking) They have a wide range of beers on tap... More

We have not been to Columbia and the Flying Saucer for quite a while but are very happy that we returned. The Flying Saucer is a true winner! The large indoor dining area is very clean and attractive, the bar is easy on the eyes, and the menu has many tasty choices around the $10 range. The walls and ceiling... More

The location is great despite the ridiculous parking. The atmosphere is always great, fun events like adult trivia keep the place lively. The beer selection is unmatched. The chicken sandwich USED to be the best in town but they made some unsatisfactory changes a while back so I no longer visit frequently. As a recently former regular, I must address... More

I tried the garden salad today. The salad was quite large for five bucks. The 81 beer taps are still great but there is no sight of Highland Cold Mountain as yet.

Had a group of about 10 guys for food and beer. Very good service along with the food. A huge selection of beer. Made for a great time.

This place is great! The atmosphere is great and the location is perfect. We were here for some drinks after dinner and were not disappointment. The beer selection is awesome and would definitely go here again.

Laid back choice with great beer selection. Pretzels are the best. Our beer goddess wasn't very knowledgable but was friendly and prompt. We frequent the location in Raleigh so figured it was a safe choice. Located downtown.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Drink selection was great. The food was pretty standard. I had the pretzel with the cheese and sausage. There wasnt much meat, it was pretty salty and slightly greasy. The pork in the bahn mi had a reheated taste. The wings were good. I'd... More

I wanted a great beer and went with my gut about this place. Excellent decision. The list of craft beer is extensive and the service is on point. I didn't try the food but what I saw looked amazing.

Thank Katrina B
