World's best veggie burger with with a full bouquet of delicious flavors and the quiche is to die for ! Well worth the 5-10 min. detour if your traveling up or down interstate 95. Sure beats the chain restaurant alternatives.

My husband and I stopped here on our way back from Florida and found it a charming and comfortable place for breakfast. There was also artwork and crafts available for sale from local artists and has music in the evenings. We each had a piece of freshly baked vegetable quiche which was so tasty and the coffee was excellent. This... More

Great coffee. Very friendly. Had cappuccino, bagel & lox and apple muffin. Food very good, coffee great. Kind of place with regulars walking in ordering their usuals. Owner very personable with attention to detail. Leisurely breakfast before hitting the road was perfect. Worth the 5 minutes from 95. Gave us a excellent impression of Florence with beautiful performing center across... More

Great place for brunch and a cup of coffee. The food it very good here. Not a large variety but everything tastes so good! At night they often have local entertainment. During the summer if you stop by you must have their tomato pie! It is to die for!

I was traveling on business to Florence and stayed at a hotel block away from The Clay Pot Coffee Shop. I walked over to the restaurant for breakfast. The menu items were on the board but the owner was so courteous and offered to make any sandwich I would like and she made several suggestions. I ordered a blueberry muffin... More

I do mean rough, but the neighborhood is transforming slowly. I arrived at opening time for a cup of coffee and breakfast sandwich for the road. Peggy(the proprietor) was very engaging. She has done a wonderful job with The Clay Pot and is a large part of this towns hopeful resurgence to greatness. The coffee was hot and the egg... More

My wife and I went here on a lazy Saturday morning. Clay Pot always has great food, coffee, and smoothies and they delivered again. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quick bite or a place to enjoy a cup of coffee with a book.

Walking in the newly revitalized downtown Florence, SC we came upon the Clay Pot Coffee Shop. Stopped to get a coffee for the road and ended up with a wonderful mocha latte, Chai latte AND veggie frittata and (omg😊) fried cheesy, savory spiced grits. Yum! Also note local books, paintings and owners beautiful pottery. A find!
