We stopped here because this restaurant was in Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives". It did not disappoint. It is rare to find something different in small restaurants, but we could tell they were using their imagination here. We'd stop again.

Harold's Restaurant in downtown Gaffney was made famous when it was reviewed on Diner's, Drive Inns, and Dives. And that's exactly what it is. I got the hamburger. Actually I got several because the burgers are more like meatballs. The food is good. The service is good. Mainly I went here for the experience because it's a famous place.

After watching the clip from the food Network I thought we'd give this place a shot. It was pretty good. I'd say nothing special. I read the bad reviews and was almost talked out of going. I am glad my husband said we should go and see for ourselves. We would go again.

It's a bar with not great food. Was featured on Food Network as one of the Dives. I say that was correct. Local drunk hang out.

Went to Harold's today for lunch, when we went to sit down at a table there were 2 roaches on the table top. Did not stick around to find out if the food was any good.

So yeah...the place was on the Food Network TV show Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Don't let that fool you. The place started in 1932 and I don't think it has been updated or cleaned since then. A bar connected to the restaurant has people smoking like chimneys. The chili is bland liquid. The chili burger is nothing more than... More

I decided to try this place because Guy Fieri was on the billboard that I travel past everyday. After checkingbout the prices online, I decided to give them a try. Get to the restaurant and everything that I wanted to try was priced higher than stated online. The "world famous chili burger" is a hamburger bun, cold chili, and a... More

not anymore - holding on to that Triple D appearance from way back. Service is mediocre at best. Tea is sweet, SC style and for real. Fatback is OK, as are fries. Their hotdogs are good and their sloppy joe meatball sandwich/burger bun thing is good if hot. Locals and hood rats seem to populate the major clientele

We went to have breakfast, as my dad saw this place on the Food Network. It's fine if you like hot dogs and beer at 7 am. We were not at all impressed with this restaurant, if you want to call it that. I think it may be more of a locals hangout. Not for us, though

I was very excited to visit the restaurant because of what I had heard. I was let down. Got the hot dog, it was not good at all the fries were good. All in all I was not impressed at all.
