Enjoyed dinner here before going to the latest musical in the annual series at Peace Center. Good charcuteriie plate, salad and lovely wine. Friendly, attentive service, great view of the river in downtown Greenville, SC.

The Service was Horrible, The food was greasy and not plated to entice the eye. The Restaurant itself is Beautiful. If only the service and the food where a reflection of the exterior , this place would be top notch.

Wonderful place to have a meeting, dinner gathering. A great sample of appetizers was passed through the crown. Lazy Goat Beer was a must try. If not, there were at least 15 other kinds of beer and ale. The grilled Brussel sprouts were to die for. If you do not even like Brussel sprouts, I suggest you try them. You... More

I had a business dinner with a preselected menu but was quite happy with the food. The steak was nicely done, but the chicken was a bit boring. The most interesting item was brussel sprouts with a sherry reduction, quickly fried and then topped with manchego cheese. Attentive staff.

Food was good when they first opened, but it seems very average now. They have some interesting menu items, though. Some of the best views in Greenville and great outdoor seating. Great wine selection.

The lazy goat never ceases to please. Have been to this wonderful gym at a restaurant at least three times. The cuisine is amazingly consistent in terms of quality. Start with the fried goat cheese and Brussels sprouts and finish with the lazy paella. The Red Sangria was a wonderful reminder of summer in the middle of winter. You cannot... More

Truffle Pom Frites were the highlight of the visit. The menu was limited for kids who don't adore Greek food. All that we had was good, but the Pom Frites are the only thing we would go out of our way to get.

Description
The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East and a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged. The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes. Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of that and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like".
