Ordered the vegetable quiche with a side salad. Quiche portion was generous and quite good. Salad was good too. Went with a group of 8 total, service was good especially considering we were there during the height of the lunch hour. Most of the people at my table ordered dessert (cake) and everyone took a good portion of their cake... More

Given that I have had a great experience at this restaurant before, I was very surprised by tonight's experience. From the start of our dinner to the payment of the check, things just got worse and worse. First, we had to ask for drink menus from three different people before receiving them. Then, once we ordered and received our salads,... More

My wife and I have been going to the Brick Street Cafe since we moved to Greenville in 2013. It's a funky restaurant in terms of its decor, which we like. The menu is varied with plenty to choose from. We have had Andy's Tuna Melt, Veggie Weggie Wrap, Julie's Black Bean Burger, The Grilled Fresh Salmon Salad, just to... More

70th birthday dinner for my wifes mother. Group size 18 people. Arrive at opening which was 5:30. Proceeded to watch another similar size group order, receive their meal, and eat dessert before we received our food. I am fairly reasonable and realize that there are variables that impact service and food quality. That said when we sit at 5:30 and... More

The food is good Southern Style. Quirky place but beautiful. You have to try any or ALL of the desserts which they are famous for. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Great for family visits and for celebrations.

The food here is excellent and their specialty is dessert cakes. Our table tried the coconut, the sweet potato, and the German chocolate. All were excellent, fresh, light and delicious. The sweet potato cake is their specialty. Similar to the coconut cake in texture with a creamy frosting. The appetizer of baked Brie is served with caramel sauce, apples, grapes... More

I have been here for lunch, dinner, coffee and desert and even for baby showers! Highly recommend it for their coconut cake and all of their baked goods!

Have been here 2 times. Both times it was extremely slow but the 2nd time was really bad. Server didnt seem to know the menu and had no personality. It took forever for the salads to get out , and then forever again for our food. The food is ok but not worth the slow service and is a bit... More

This review is about a cake that I purchased for my wife's birthday. This is the 2nd one that I have purchased. The 1st one was their Sweet Potato Cake which was great. The more recent purchase was for a medium Peanut Butter Cake. It was outstanding. Was a huge hit with the entire family. Can't wait until the next... More

Nice ambiance, nice staff, but obviously too few, waiting time is long, 45 min for a simple lunch is more than acceptable. The reputed Reuben Sandwich was a disappointment. Instead of the advertised "Pumpernickel rye bread" we got a dry toast made of wheat bread! No excuse that they had run out of bread or question if we would like... More
