We live near Myrtle beach and go to New York Prime which is same owner but menu has many more options for seafood. We enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad. My husband had New York strip and I the filet. Both cooked perfect. Service was fine not great. Overall much better experience than sister restaurant.

Very good food and great wine options. Service was impeccable. They do allow smoking so I would not visit when busy on a weekend. A bit pricey though.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times. The food is impeccable, the service is impeccable, the staff is outstanding. Everything is done to perfection, so, I don't mind paying the price.

My wife's ribeye and my fillet were perfect. Delicious, tender and cooked exactly as we asked for. We got the creamed spinach and baked potato. Spinach was very good. Baked potato was huge and the toppings were done right. No problems with the potato being over or under cooked. Our server, or I should say, our server team was very... More

We had the best and most attentive waiter. The food is very pricey but I can say my New York Strip Steak was delicious from the first bite to the last! I would definitely visit again but only after I robbed a bank $$$ lol.

I attended a large business dinner meeting. Food, drink and service were excellent. Unfortunately there is no meeting room so the screen for slides was small, the speaker was drowned out by the Frank Sinatra music, since we did not have a separate room. Dinner was served exceptionally slowly.

This was my first visit to Chophouse. For an appetizer I ordered the baked shrimp. The waiter brought out 4 shrimp drenched in butter and soggy breadcrumbs. That will set you back $18.50. At almost $5 per shrimp, that's waaay overpriced for what you actually get. I ordered the center cut ribeye and the cheese mashed potatoes for my entree.... More

Awesome steaks, awesome food, Just stinks like a horrible cigar bar that is at the front bar. We had the Ribeye and it was wonderful. When we got home, we had to put our clothes right in the wash because of the cigar smoke smell, and we were in the back of the restaurant.

Fighting downtown traffic and parking for what? A sub par dining experience and over-priced mediocre food? Chophouse 47 is not only the most outstanding dining experience in South Carolina, it is the best you have had in a long time I promise you. Portions are generous and entree's impeccable. Service is on par to a Manhattan 5 star restaurant. Don't... More

Ok, this place is simply the best. The ambiance, friendliness of the staff and most important the food and wine are exceptional. It's the third time I've taken news clients here and again they were more than impressed. I started with the oyster shots which were delicious! I then had the 8oz rib-eye with wonderful creamed spinach cooked to perfection.... More
