This was our second visit. Larkin's just began opening early with a very small menu before 5pm. It was enough for a late lunch early dinner. We ordered the She crab soup which was delicious except for one bite was a spoonful of black pepper...More

Beautiful setting along the river. Have never had anything but memorable meal. The $30 prix fixed is always a bargain. Before a performance at the Peace Center or Sunday Brunch you will not be dissapointed

This is our go to restaurant for all of our special occasions. My husband and I come here for every birthday, anniversary and Valentine's Day. We love the steaks and of course the truffle fries!

Larkin's on the River is a classic example of Greenville's finest and most solid restaurants. The menu has a good selection but does not overwhelm. The service is prompt and the courses arrive with just the right amount of time in between to fully enjoy...More

We were a party of 4 on 5/17 and were seated in the middle of the dining room. Appetizers were Ceasar Salad & Fried Green Tomatoes. Dinner consisted of Osso Bucco, 16oz boneless NY Strip, 21oz Rib Eye, & 12oz Salmon Fillet. Sides consisted of...More

When they're on, they're good and they're a good value. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that they're not on their game consistently enough and other steakhouse options like Halls, Rick Erwins, and Chophouse (Pelham Rd) seem to carry less of a risk of disappointment....More

The appetizers were very good, but the entrees were uninspired. The shrimp and grits was too heavy, not the usual broth-like sauce, and the shrimp were a little tough.

Do you have a gluten free menu? Gluten free options? If so, are you gluten free items cooked separately from the regular gluten items so there would be no cross contamination? We will be visiting Greenville for 2-3 weeks in early June and I can only eat gluten free due to celiac disease. Would appreciate any input. Thank you so much.

Larkin's on the River is an award-winning restaurant serving premium cut steaks, fresh seafood, and fine wines. Every menu item is created with the freshest ingredients and served with a creative flair. Larkin's on the River at the Peace Center for the performing arts, is situated in the heart of downtown Greenville, along the banks of the Reedy River, in the old Gower Coach Factory. This is the only building remaining of the original eleven dating back to Civil War. With beautiful preserved exposed brick walls and open ceilings, the history of the building serves as the perfect backdrop to the modern and hip atmosphere Larkin's on the River offers.
