I've only been to a number of Thai restaurants but Sweet Basil is no doubt the best. The food is very flavorful and you can choose the level of spiciness. The Amanda Shrimp was great. Good service, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Excellent restaurant. Service was very prompt. Food can out hot. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. Was very good and very crunchy. My wife ordered Amanda Chicken and I had Pad Thai with pork. Both were excellent but of the two I would rate the Amanda Chicken a little better. Portions are hefty so we both got doggie bags.

We decided to go to Sweet Basil based off TripAdvisor recommendations. Our service was very good with an attentive staff. Our food was below expectation. My wife had Red Curry Duck that was pretty to look at but came out of the kitchen below room temperature. The duck was warm but the curry sauce was not freshly made and not... More

We always stop in Thai Basil for lunch when we're in the Greenville area. Food is fresh and staff is very attentive!

Family owned, great food, great atmosphere, great service! The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. The service from the moment you walk in the door is superb. The appetizers are great, several soups, salads, several rice and noodle dishes. Duck is offered. Several seafood dishes including Bass, snapper, mussels, scallops, squid and shrimp. Curry dishes. You can order mild,... More

Sweet Basil is highly rated, but in my opinion the pad Thai and Tom sum soup and my wife's cashew chicken were just average. We've had better in the Greenville area, but the service was good and the prices are reasonable.

Grabbed dinner here with a friend. This is very good Thai food for the upstate area! I'd recommend it to almost anyone. We ordered the Penang Curry and Pad See Ew. The curry was fabulous, but the Pad See Ew was lacking. I was disappointed they didn't use wide rice noodles. But overall, four stars!

Good Thai for Greenville but not up to par when compared to better Thai restaurants in Atlanta or Charlotte. Worth going there but expect to be underwhelmed.
