Food is really good at times. Sometimes it seems like the food is not homemade... Just straight out of the can.. But I will eat there again. It's really not that bad.

Cafeteria style, noisy and crowded...but...remember you are here to eat and what great food. Some call it Southern style and others call is Soul food.....all I know is it tastes like Mama is in the kitchen! Being Southern born and raised I know real old fashioned cooking and Oj's is some of the best....fried chicken, okra, fresh turnip greens, real... More

Went to OJ's a few months ago for the first time. I am not particularly a fried chicken person, but boy, oh boy, was that the best chicken I have ever had....better than my grandmother's! The fried okra is excellent and neither are "greasy"....I have to admit the chicken was so good, I've had it every time I have been... More

This place does not look like a good option at first, and lots of outsiders will mistake the one-line buffet for a soup kitchen. However, you interact with some of the other customers (mostly locals when I went) and you get a great community feel. As for the food, it is not spectacular, but its acceptable for the price. I... Somewhat legendary and appeals to cross section of the community. If you are looking for a solid meal with a selection of meats and vegetables, prepared the old fashioned way, this is the place for you. Good for breakfast too. Have some fried fish with those eggs and grits!

If you want some home cooking, OJs will fill the bill. There is one in Easley now, too. I am pretty sure they are related. Their white fish is really good, but they sell a lot of different kind of food including burgers, hotdogs, and meat and three.

Everything I've ever ate there melts in your mouth. Absolutely delicious and wonderful staff. I generally frequent the Greenville store on Fridays for Ribs. Best ribs I've ever eaten. Brought many people there who are now regulars as well.

The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. I love eating at O.J.'s and have never had anything that wasn't perfect! Okra Mac n cheese and biscuits are a must have every single visit. The best restaurant in Easley and for a very fair price!! :)

try to go there on a Friday, when they have ribs; they are better than the steak houses! The staff are all friendly and quick to bring you more tea or another napkin. If you like soul food (we just called it food when Mama cooked it) this is the place to be.

Lunch at OJ's is a treat mixing Southern Cooking, Friendly Staff, and an eclectic cross-section of Greenville's diners in one easy to find and central location. The consummate fried chicken is just as you expect along with 'taters and beans or fried okra as sides. Fresh corn bread and the ever present sweet tea round out a meal that is... More
