Friends and I made reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday at The Hare & Hound as we were told they would get busy. We showed up a little early and were still able to be seated right away. The atmosphere certainly had a pub feeling with lots of dark woodwork, booths, and mirrored bar signs throughout. It was a little... More

I ordered the soup and half sandwich, beloved had the steak and ale pie. Outstanding! My cup of soup was a spicy chicken with loads of corn, black beans, and enough kick to make me scrape the bottom of the cup in order to not miss a drop. My Pilgrim sandwich was stuffed with sliced turkey, bacon, lettuce, and cranberry... More

I've been there twice recently for lunch. Both times the food and service were excellent. Their menu is extensive and it will take more than a few more visits to sample everything I'm interested.

We ate here the other night. There were 9 of us. 6 people got te fish and chips which were very good. I had the pecan crusted trout, which was excellent with the creamy sauce. The pimento cheese stuffed pork chop was ok, but it seemed to have cheese whiz type taste and consistancy. The bourbon chicken was also good.... More

There were five of us and we all had something different - soup, sandwiches, appetizers. I was able to taste the very thin fried onion strings and though onion rings are not my favorite thing, these were pretty good. I made a poor choice. Last year I had an excellent pimento cheeseburger in Arkansas and have been trying to replicate... More

It's one of my favorite sandwiches to eat there. The restaurant is always busy in the evening, the wait staff is friendly. Interesting menu.

I have never had a so-so meal here. The menu variety is good. My favorites are their calamari and the fish and chips.
