I had higher expectations for this restaurant. The chips with the salsa, guac and queso were the best part of the meal. I did not care for the shrimp taco and the fish taco was just ok. Server was attentive but it wasn't very busy for a Sunday at 4:00pm. More of a drinking crowd at that time than an... More

Juanita Greenberg's has easy parking off of the busy Coleman Blvd since it shares parking with the pizza place next door seated a bit more off the road. You can use the light and come in from the side street to the parking if you prefer. This restaurant has outdoor tables, picnic tables outside in a patio area, bar seating,... More

I came with a few friends late night to get some drinks. I started off with a Texas Grandma Margarita. Very delicious. They ran out of a couple staple liqueurs (amaretto) which disappointed me. But the well drink I ordered was great. A few friends got some food and I was really kicking myself for not ordering some food. Quesadillas... More

This might be a good place to drink a beer and watch the game but the food you should skip. Poor service does not help. My wife had fish tacos. No taste. I had the BBQ taco. Way too fatty. This place deserves its low rating.

I have eaten here a couple of times with my daughter. The food has always been reasonably good. It always sort of seems like things are on auto-pilot, though, which doesn't really make for a memorable experience: the staff seems tired, not very welcoming; they give you the food then disappear. It's not a bad spot, there are just better... More

If Taco Bell sold beer, they could call Juanita Greenbergs. I went in for lunch thinking a taco joint would be fast. I took a seat in the bar area and waited. There was one waitress in the bar area working like a demon trying to take care of things, but she was overwhelmed. She finally came to my table... More

We stopped in one afternoon on the way back from Fort Sumter. I ordered the chicken enchilada with cheese sauce, it was incredibly salty and over seasoned! My wife have the cheese enchiladas. Our waiter very quickly corrected my enchiladas and brought me just plain cheese enchiladas that were excellent. This is the first Mexican restaurant that I have ever been... More

Cannot get any better anywhere. Food, service and bar service, outstanding !! Would recommend it to families, early evening and lunch, and to all for late evening fun and food and drinks.

Well worth a stop for a cold drink and some casual dining. Not the top of the heap but nothing bad to say

At Juanita Greenberg’s Nacho Royale we make real Mexican-ish food prepared fresh and fast. Over a decade ago, we first opened Juanita Greenberg’s Burrito Palace on Wentworth Street in Historic Charleston and featured original style nachos, quesadillas, and big fat healthy burritos. Now we have 2 locations – Upper King in downtown Charleston and Coleman Boulevard right near Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant.Juanita’s has also grown from just awesome Mexican food to a whole lot more. Seating inside and outside at both locations, margaritas that will make you want to jump right into the glass, TV’s all around (so yeah we have that sports-bar thing going on too) and a casual, groovy, retro-cool atmosphere that’ll make you want to stick around long after your food’s gone!So ANDELE ANDELE, ARIBA ARIBA! Get a group together and get to Juanita’s – the food’s cookin’ and the margaritas are waiting. We are dog friendly and smoking is allowed on the patio!
