Murrells Inlet and the Marsh Walk is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner - especially in conjunction with a visit to Brookgreen Gardens. Our friends had the burgers, while we enjoyed clams and "boom boom" shrimp - and the food was excellent. The fries are especially good...really crispy ! Our first visit - and we would return... I hate chain restaurants especially in a place where there are many many other choices. I don't think this is a chain but sort of expected it to be like one. It was nicer than I expected. I guess I thought it was going to just a step up from one of those many seafood buffets at Myrtle Beach. The... More

Took our friends to Drunken Jacks and they loved it as much as we do. We started with the bloody Mary's, which were fabulous. We all ordered various sandwiches: blackened grouper, flounder poor boy. Very fresh, tasty, and filling. The hush puppies are a must. Only disappointment was that we were too full to order desert.

It's a fun and funky place to go. Don't need to dress up but do dress down! Great food, live music, 2 porches, a large bar and tables inside and out all with water views!

We always make this a stop for dinner. In the past my favorite was the stuffed flounder, but they don't have it on the menu anymore, at least when I've visited the last couple of years. I ordered a steak in the past done just right, this trip I had the Chef Casey's Risotto. It is absolutely one of the... More

This is a GREAT place for good seafood. I had the Steak Neptune - 2 filet medallions topped with grilled shrimp, scallops, and lobster meat. Finished with a delicious lobster cream sauce. EXCELLENT. Every table in the restaurant has a wonderful view of the inlet. Ambiance is very nice. Good drinks.

We waited a long time since they don't take reservations, but we just did a reverse dinner and got ice cream at twisters first. Once inside, the service was prompt for a large group and the food was great for everyone. Pirate hats for all! I also appreciated being allowed to put on my own tip with no built-in 15... More

We stopped here for some fresh seafood. We both had the scallops, one order fried and one broiled. The fried scallops were soggy but both orders were very sweet and the best scallops we've had in years. Oh, make sure you try the hush puppies. They were so good!!!

All around good fried seafood and the best she-crab soup ever! The food is always fresh and hot to taste when it arrives to table. Great service and great views of the inlet and Garden City Point.

While everyone enjoyed the drinks and the service the food was just average. This is a very popular restaurant so if you're going be sure to make reservations.
