Very good Mexican, which I love. The atmosphere is pleasant, service very good and prices very reasonable. Obviously a popular place for locals & tourists.

We visit the restaurant during the winter months (off season) and many times get a "take out". The food is very delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. Love the salsa! Service is excellent and very friendly.

We had dinner there. I had the pollo fundido. It was very good. Loved the rice and beans as well. My wife had the chicken and cheese stuffed poblano pepper. It was very hot. Not advertised as a spicy dish. We are hot sauce people and she thought it was too hot. Beware, but overall I like the place. I'd... More

Our food was more than ample and was delivered with a smile and personality. We tried several dishes (three) and they were as good as we've ever had. The ambiance was typical - not too loud but happy and our server always was right there with what we needed and always with a pleasant attitude. Will go there again when... More

My husband and I lived in San Diego for six year where we Had many excellent Mexican restaurants to choose from as the city borders Mexico. When we moved to Lexington, NC we were amazed at the large Hispanic population and again, we had a fabulous Mexican restaurant. Now we live in the Myrtle Beach area of SC and once... More

We thought very highly of this restaurant. Our waitress was Brenda and she did a super job. She was efficient and friendly. I think friendliness will always bring a better tip. Our food was just plain delicious. I had the El Favorita and it is well named. It has a small chimichanga and a quesadilla. It is accompanied by quacamole,... More

It's edible, service was good, but this is not Mexican food. Lacking flavor. The salsa was typical restaurant salsa out of a can. I would be shocked if they even eat this at their own homes.

Went there for lunch with a few people and the portions were generous for lunch. Corn chips instead of flour were good. Queso was a bit watery. They didn't have a vegetarian section as most Mexican places do :(

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant! Good size portions, authentic taste, and prices are reasonable. Their salsa is the best we have found and very fresh! The best time to go and avoid the crowds is anywhere from 2pm-5pm.

We ate here and weren't very impressed. Some people in our group liked their food and others did not. Pretty average over all. The service was not good. It took forever to give our order and get our drinks.
