When hit up this place at least twice when we stay at Myrtle Beach. Great Breakfast Buffet always full with plenty to choose from. Nothing beats Shoney's.

Worst breakfast in years. Visited many Shoney's that were ok. But this one is the worst ever Do you like water gravy and uncooked dough biscuits ? Food not even appetizing on the bar. We told them their biscuits were not done. Brown outside ,dough inside. We had buffet for 2 and 2 coffees for $24.00. What a ripoff. Wasting... More

Meal was not hot, fish was a disatster, there was chowder but had to ask for and wait for bowls. They brought out about four bowls, then had to tell them they had no spoons, another wait. Asked why the containers were empty when it was just 4:30 or so, told there were kids in before us. Well, instead of... More

Went to visit Wendy. Told she had been terminated. Good for her. The food was gross. White mold growinng on salad stuff. Bacon burnt. Eggs disgusting. Never Again. We only went to visit her. The only good thing they had going for them

Shoneys: What are they doing?? The decor is from a hundred years ago (or so it seems) and the "buffet" looks old, and is the same buffet they served in the 70's. Come on Shoneys, get it together: people will come if the food is decent and a new look to it, and update your interior. Or just close and... More

I've been going to Shoney's since I was a little girl and have always loved the slim Jim sandwich. Also they have the best strawberry pie and I usually buy a whole one to take home. They are very reasonably priced and the foods good, so I'm surprised that often there's not many cars in the parking lot.

I've always liked the type of food served at Shoney's and saw their sign for Christmas Day buffet. I knew I could get a good meal without paying an arm and a leg. They had a good variety of food, including turkey, ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, cornbread stuffing and creamed corn. They also had salad fixings... More

We needed a quick stop to eat and get back on the road again while vacationing. this was perfect for that but the waitress (Wendy) was the one that made it memorable with her pleasant smile and perfect customer service. Thanks again, Wendy! Hope to see you on the next trip down south!

I stopped into the restaurant about 3 weeks ago now. We had just gotten out of a funeral. Me and some of my friends. I spilt my drink. They were talking loud. It was just hectic. Our waitress however Wendy really turned the day around. She didnt even know what was going on and even though were older she was... More
