My husband and I had dinner at Luigi's for the first time last week and would definitely go again. Atmosphere is casual, but warm and inviting. Service was attentive without being intrusive. And the food was vey good with generous portions. We had stuffed mushrooms...for an appetizer, and the sausage and broccoli ravioli and veal lemone for entrees, all of which we would recommend to anyone. The only negative of this dining experience was the noise level. The tables are close to one another and unfortunately for us, there were a number of loud patrons seated close by.More

a couple of friends have been asking us to go so we did. That’s $60 wasted! they start out by serving bread and oil, but if you want more you have to pay for it…that is pretty low end and tacky! I asked our server...Kayley if i had a choice which one should i choose..she told me the lobster ravioli but it’s not on early bird. i went with her suggestion and it was awful. it’s was in red sauce which i have never had before, it’s usually white or a cream sauce. The first thing i thought of when i took a bite was franco american ravioli when i was young. Honestly that is exactly what it tasted like..not the slightest taste of lobster or any kind of seafood. there was a very small piece of lobster on the plate, the size of a shrimp! Our server never came back to the table after someone brought our food. She came back when we were done and asked how i liked it and the person we were with said she hated it. I said I didn’t like it at all and if you came and asked i would have gotten something else..she says I’m sorry and walks away! So many excellent italian restaurants in MB…i won’t be going back here!More

If you like a quieter restaurant, don’t go. Food and waitstaff very attentive And good. They have tables on top of tables to fit to many people in a small space. I could not wait to get out of there. I guess that is good...for business because of turnover on tables. More money made. Felt like they were Not about the joy of serving and having people enjoy a nice meal.More

Luigi's is always delicious. We had the lasagna and it was perfect. Our server, Tristin, was the best. One of our favorite places to dine.

We were llooking forward to visting Luigi's for the first time based on all the postive reviews we had read. Overall, I would rate the experience as not bad but not as great as the reviews we had read. Service and atmosphere were wonderful but...we found the food to be nothing special, lacking much taste. This is obviously a very popular place based on how busy it was early on a Saturday but it just didn't hit the spot with us.More

Went there with a group. Service was very good. Food, as always, was excellent. Several had the Ossobuco and praised it. My date had manicotti. Loved it. I had the linguine with white clam sauce. Lots of clams. Sauce was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Will...go back again soon.More

As always, this place succeeds in providing my party with great food. There was just 2 of this time. She had the manicotti and loved it. I ordered the veal Osso buco, which is one of my favorites. It and the risotto which came with...was delicious. No knife needed. The drink and the wine portions were generous. The service was impeccable. Will I go there again? Yes and soon.More

We came for the Early Bird Special at 4. I had the calamari appetizer and grouper over pasta as my main course it was cooked to perfection. Bartec was our server he is probably the most efficient and engaging individual I’ve encountered in the 2...years I’ve been living in Myrtle Beach. I bring friends here from the NJ/NY area and never been disappointed.More

Mostly good. The food was good. The service, bartender Gail was great, server Maria was fabulous. 2 things not so great, first of all, the atmosphere was perfect Italian, but the manager preferred to listen to rock music rather than keeping in mood and playing...Italian music. I find in a place like this the proper mood music takes you away, makes everything better. The biggest downfall that would keep me from coming back was the manager, I was told his name was Bartec or something like that. Bad attitude, rude, disrespectful to the customers. No compassion or interest in customer service. Definitely on a power trip. The things I observed him say and do to the customers. Unbelievable. There are a lot of good managers out there to be found. once business gets competitive again people will not return and deal with him. Get rid of him and you will certainly get back to pleasing new and old customers the way they are accustomed and expect from and experienced from you in the past. Very rarely am I this harsh on someone. Over 100,000 reads on my reviews will attest to that. He's got to go!More

Went here with my family for dinner. We had reservations and as soon as we walked into this relaxing atmosphere, we were seated by Tristan who was also our waiter. He was very pleasant and had such a positive attitude. I ordered the lobster raviolis....I have had lobster raviolis in many restaurants and the ones at Luigi’s were absolutely the BEST! My husband had the fettuccini Alfred with chicken which he said was very good although he likes a thicker sauce. My SIL had the eggplant rollantini. She had to bring some home because there was too much for her. This will definitely be a place we will return to during trips to Myrtle Beach! Do yourself a favor and add Luigi’s Trattoria to your dining experience!More

Definitely spotted this one on TripAdvisor and visited based on the reviews. It did not disappoint. We made a reservation and waited about 10 minutes for our table. Staff was friendly and everyone dining that evening looked and sounded like they were having a great...time. It looked like a celebration and it looked like locals. It was our kinda place! Service was excellent. The warm bread served was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The fried calamari appetizer was tender and delicious. My husband had the pork special and I ordered veal saltimboca. Both were absolutely delicious and they give very generous portions. We finished with Tartufo! Not many Italian restaurants serve that anymore. We were thrilled and it was amazing. Definitely will be back when we are in the area!More

Been over a year since we ate here. Lombardo's was our favorite for years and then we started to go to Indulge for Italian food. Luigi's was in 2nd place because their seafood trio was just below Lombardo's...not anymore. Luigi's sauce and fish part of...the seafood trio is now better and you get a lot more for the same price. However, their Shrimp Scampi, Salad and Bread are not as good a Lombardo's or Indulge. The fish special at Indulge though us usually even better than the seafood trio. Confused? Bottom line all 3 places are good for Italian Food, all 3 have coupons either on line, the local attractions guide, Restaurant.com, etc that make them more affordable. Strictly from a foodie perspective, I'd rank Indulge #1, Luigi's #2 and Lombardo's a close #3. Going to try to hit 3-4 more different Italian Restaurants before year end to complete my 2023 ranking..Caio, Sole, the new one in the old vine bistro, and Little Italy.More

This restaurant, like most restaurants in Myrtle Beach, accept shorts and dressy attire. It is a Beach city so casual is accepted , but casual classy is preferred.
