Went with friends for lunch and was Not disapointed at all, the hard part was finding parking, about 2 blocks away. The service was very good and friendly the food came out fast and hot, very tasty.

This place was like a throw back to Little Italy in New York.. the bread and oil was dynamite, the waiter, Carlos, was awesome!! Had the sautéed shrimp for appetizer.. fresh and tasty.. Had the spaghetti and shrimp fettuccine which were both spot on.. going back next day off

This was a great experience and the food was excellent. The services was average but the food made up for that. We will definitely return and try another delicious dish. We liked the area with smalls stores reminded us of Old Alexandra.

Service and Food amazing. Rose wine was delicious. Finished our drinks at a table on the sidewalk and enjoyed sunset.

....and we were so happy the traffic pulled us in. They had a special for appetizers that was an Italian spin on a Monte Cristo. It was prosciutto and mozzarella on bread, battered in a Parmesan egg crust and then deep fried and served with their Marinara. Their only crime here is that that is not a regular on the... More

After a pleasant meal some weeks earlier, I decided to return, something unusual for me as the Charleston area offers so many dining choices. Unfortunately this time we went on a Friday evening and they were clearly overwhelmed and perhaps short handed. While our waiter was pleasant we waited an inordinate amount of time for cocktails. As the place was... More

Maybe coming from NY and Chicago my standards for Italian food are different. And the food here was good. Just not very good or great. Bread--crispy but not a lot of flavor. Olive oil served with it quite bland. Eggplant roulettes were on the cold side, with a cheese mixture that looked good but was also bland. Angel hair pasta... More

This Italian secret was excellent. The food was superb. Price is inline with most restaurants of this type. The thing we didn't really like was the seating arrangement they use. The tables are close together. The booths they had is definitely what we'll request next time.

Fratellos Italian Tavern is an American Italian restaurant located in Mount Pleasant in the I'On Community, featuring Italian comfort cuisine with a menu driven by local seasonal ingredients and a homestyle feel. The word Fratello in Italian refers to fraternity or brother. It is this bond that our proprietor Richard Tuorto and Chef Kevin Bruntz had in mind when they shared favorite family recipes to create a unique dining experience.
