Several wooden tables with no coverings. Service was quite good. Menu was unexpectedly not very Irish, though there was the usual shepherd's pie, etc. Special of the day was all you could eat roast beef, mashed potatoes and green beans for $10.95. A few seafood dishes of fair flavor the most expensive being a potato encrusted grouper for $18.95. Food... More

We arrived on a crowded Sunday evening, I sat and my husband had to stand because the only extra stool was far and away. The bartender/server was fabulous. We weren't starving but wanted something fresh and authentic. I appreciated his honesty when he explained no fish was fresh, the other offerings were okay but they made it taste good. Well... More

Offered extensive menu and my favorite English Style Fish & Chips. Many popular beers available on draft. Quickly seated at 6:oo pm without reservation on a Friday night. Full house with some great local musicians playing in the bar. Parking a premium but worth the effort.

My step-brother was in town playing golf and wanted to take me out to dinner. I suggested Flynn's Irish Pub. Been by it many times but never ate there. He was happy, he could get a Guinness Beer. They suggest a reservation since they are a small dining establishment but being off season (October) we thought we could just walk... More

Food was really tasty. Shepherd's pie, bangers & mash, liver and onions at our table, everyone enjoyed. Service good also.

We ate at this Tavern for the first time back in September. The soup was pretty bad. I had the Irish onion soup which was no French onion soup ! It looked like hot water with onions in it. My wife had the cream of crab soup which had no taste or crab in it. My entrée was the beef... More

We are visiting North Myrtle for the month and dined at Flynn's Irish Tavern with friends. We ordered shepherd's pie, Irish beef stew, chicken pot pie, meatloaf and liver/onions. The portion size of all meals was very generous. All food arrived steaming hot. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and provided good customer service. This is a traditional... What a great little place. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed. There was live music. We ordered both the King Cut Prime Rib, and the Corn Beef and Cabbage. The Prime Ribs was one of the best pieces of meat I have had in a long time. The vegetables and potatoes were so-----so. My wife's... More

I visited Flynn's during my vacation in September 2016. There where three of us and we all decided to try each of the others dishes. We had shepherds pie, beef liver with onion and corn beef platters. All of these dishes where off the chart in quality. I will go back as soon as I can.

We ate dinner at Flynn's last week while vacationing. It was one of our favorite dinners! The food was great and they have an extensive beverage selection. The Irish entrees are excellent! Great atmosphere and our server was very personable. We will definitely go back when in the area.

Description
Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.
