Dukes has been known for years, including a spot on The Food Network several years ago. Barbeque, hash, barbequed chicken, rice, vegetables, potato salad, slaw and pickles make up the buffet. No one can ever get enough of the Original Dukes Barbeque sauce! Take some home as a sauce for other favorite recipes or just as a dip. It's THAT... More

Middle of nowhere but oh my goodness the mac and cheese was amazing! BBQ sauce was mustard based, really creamy. Pork rinds, coleslaw and beans were really great too! Didn't try the fried chicken but my husband went back three times to get more!

It is fast, friendly, no frills food. $11.00 per adult includes tax and tea. Chicken was good. Chopped pork was fine. Mac and cheese was excellent. Hush puppies were the sweet kind closer to the cake ones. Old but clean enough place where you sit family style at long tables in folding chairs.

I have had Duke's BBQ at other locations. This is one of the best with a buffet that not only has BBQ, but also Fried Chicken and plenty of sides. The cost for the all you can eat buffet is $11 per adult. The buffet line has all of the regular BBQ items, including rice, meat, sauce, hash, cole slaw,... More

This is a local favorite and my must visit restaurant when I travel to Orangeburg. The food is always delicious. The potato salad need some work. The change in potato salad in the last year or two has gone down hill. This use to be the only potato salad I would eat at a restaurant. Now, I disappointed the time... More

What a gem! In appearance its a step up from "a hole in the wall". The food was HOT, fresh and plentiful. Everything was flavorful and prepared in traditional southern fashion with all your comfort food favorites. You cannot beat a 10 dollar buffet (drinks included).

To tell you the truth I didn't expect to like the food. I love whole in the wall places but I don't like over prices hype. But this place is really quite delicious!!!

My wife and I were heading to Charleston for 2 weddings on back to back weekends and stopped in for dinner. My wife is from the area and had been here before but this was my first visit. We usually stop at the location on Chestnut and have always raved about it. We can't get good hash in the UpState... More

Much more than just BBQ (in fact I sampled the BBQ and would give it just a 3 outta 5). BUT the macaroni & cheese, the hush puppies, the fried chicken (inc. gizzards), the tea and the friendly staff make Duke's worth stopping by. Good old country buffet and they have the sweet tea pitchers conveniently on the table. Definitely... More
