We just thought this looked like an interesting place to stop. When we were towards the back we saw the picnic tables and decided to have chili dogs. "Blue" came over and watched us waiting to see if we wanted to share and he was adorable...with big sad eyes saying I am here too:) We had to laugh. As far... More

This a low country store that houses goods from local artists, food purveyors and other knick knacks from around the world. It has some interesting and quirky stuff so it's fun to just browse around. In the back there was a counter and several picnic type benches. There was also a chest refrigerator that contained to go items like she... More

This store and Cafe is worth the visit even if you just try the sweet potato pecan pie they sell it by the slice or you can get a whole pie.

An unassuming little gem. Primarily a gift store in front, the Blue Dog Cafe sits at rear of store w/ fully equipped kitchen and nice staff. We had some gumbo, Blue dogs and wife had sweet potato pecan pie. All of it very, very good. Neat place!

Pies are homemade and only $4 a slice. Whole pies are $19.99. Had the pecan pie which was good but the apple is my favorite!

We stopped at this locally owned low country store and to our surprise they had a small cafe in the back with a few beautiful wooden tables. We ordered up a great lunch and it was good!

We stopped for a late afternoon snack and the gumbo hit the spot! Cute atmosphere and well appointed gift shop are a plus. Sits right on the way on or off the island! So glad we decided to give it a try.

We got there right at closing time, but we were able to pick up some gumbo $12, and a tomato pie $8 for dinner. It is really too expensive for what you get. The pie was the size of a banquet pot pie, but it was very good. I can make a full size pie for half that price. The... More

This small restaurant is very quaint. We loved the resident dog, Blue, along with the delicious hot dogs, gumbo and pies. We will definitely stop again when we are back in town.
