Eva's is an old school breakfast/lunch diner in downtown Summerville that has been around a long time! Michelle, the manager and our waitress just naturally made us feel like we were faithful customers! The coffee was excellent, as was the variety and taste of the menu items. The French toast was especially delicious! Reasonably priced, simple, friendly and delicious! I... More

Great little cafe where it's obvious that Eva's legacy has been carried on. Friendly service, fresh food that tastes just like home-cooked. Glad we made the decision to stop here!

Eva's is known for fabulous home cooking that's simple and delicious. The original Miss Eva used to snap green beans in her rocking chair in the kitchen and her recipes are handed down and still used by the staff today. As former Charleston residencents we still love to visit this amazing area and Eva's is our favorite spot especially for... More

We have lived in Summerville for 5 years, and never knew this place existed. So glad we found it, as this is now our favorite place to eat breakfast. We haven't been there for lunch or dinner yet, but it's on the to-do list. The bacon was thick and cooked to perfection, and the pancakes were the best I've tasted.

We were excited to visit Eva's because it seemed like a local icon. The environment was good with historical photos and newspaper clippings on the walls. The waitress was friendly. However, the food was simply "OK." I found it to be a bit bland and have a "cafeteria food" flavor. It wasn't really bad... but it wasn't good enough to... More

This is a small personal little restaurant in the downtown square in Summerville. Eaten there several times. Food is always good. Country food, about what you would expect in a setting like this. Not fancy, but if you like these kind of restaurants, you'll enjoy this one. If you are on the square, you'll be fed well.

I grew up in Summerville and I've always enjoyed the peaceful tranquility and fresh well-presented food at Eva's Restaurant. However, I cannot even begin to convey the level of disappointment I felt when I ate lunch there today. I don't have a problem with easy-listening music of any genre playing in the back ground while I eat. The country-rock music... More

2 of us went to Eva's for breakfast. We both got biscuits and gravy, our waitress suggested them. We both agreed it was very good. The service was fast and friendly. The price was average($6 something for 2 biscuits with gravy). It's plain southern cooking with no frills. I will definitely be back.

Had both breakfast and lunch here. The French toast is really good but for lunch get the Fried Chicken, rice and gravy along with green beans. You will not be sorry.
