met a friend here for lunch. It's not bad at all...but I didn't think it was great either. No problems with the service or the décor or lay out of the restaurant. Our waitress was very good. We went with the liver and onions (where else do you get that at the restaurant). It was OK, not fabulous. Prices are... More

I'm not a huge fan of country cooking, but my husband is a southern man through and through. We eat here two times a month. Service is always good and food is always fresh. My husband loves it! Only complaint is I don't eat pork and county cooking has so much in it.

We enjoy the down home southern cooking here at Lizards Thicket. The chicken is some of the best in this area. My husband really likes their fried catfish. They have a lot of food to choose from from main entree to sides and then dessert

Waitresses were excellent as usual. The Cook and managers need help or training. Seated at 1:10pm. Lunch crowd already thinned out so they weren't that busy. Ordered easy stuff that should have been ready to serve (meat and 2 vegs). The only thing they had to cook was a hamburger. Didn't get our food until 1:45! The burger had cheese... More

Our family frequently eats at this establishment, and we are always satisfied with the food and service. The food is just like a home cooked Southern meal. It is a family friendly environment suitable for all ages. The staff is always friendly, and go out of their way to make sure the customers are satisfied. They have a great selection... More

A good alternative to fast food. Country style food in a diner/family restaurant atmosphere. The staff are friendly with a country twang, and the food is....well country kitchen that's been franchised. The burger I had was good, not bad and not outstanding. At least it wasn't served on a brioche bun.

Very busy place for lunch, and pleasant staff. Busy menus too. My mistake was having the beef stew. Eh, like out of a can. My colleagues' quartered chicken looked tasty... Choose your "meats" wisely.

Simple, clean restaurant with excellent food. This Thicket is very convenient to the airport. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I stopped in for breakfast this visit but felt like I missed out on their various tasty vegetable dishes offered every day.

On the way from Charleston to Atlanta we cut through a little town called Lexington and stopped at this restaurant. Luckily they're known for pretty good southern cooking and it did not disappoint. Best value is their "small plates" for $3.99... order two of these and you have 2 meats and 4 vegetables Plus muffins or rolls for $8 that's... More
