We stopped by Mountain Treats after dinner. We got a couple pieces of pie to go (cherry and peach). The pie was good, not great, but good.

Very nice people. Good ice cream. And they sale the PPP pies, which is great if you aren't venturing into Custer.

Home made pies and Ice cream, what more could you ask for. There is also fudge too. Probably some other treats, but I stopped looking after the pies and Ice cream. If I remember correctly from yesterday, they had cherry, apple, rhubarb, strawberry rhubarb, blackberry, blueberry (?), and a few other pies...home made pies. Then 8 to 10 flavors of... More

We live near LeMars Iowa so it was fun to see Blue Bunny Ice Cream featured in Hill City. Not a lot of choices, but it was good! Also had fudge and fresh homemade pies!

The ice cream was good, but the service was unforgettable! There was an older gentleman there who was so funny! He talked and joked with our 12 yr old grandson and had us all laughing! I would go back just to talk to this man, I would love to just sit and talk to him about the area and learn... More

What a cute little place to stop for a treat! My family got ice cream and it was delicious! The gentleman that owns it was super sweet and so kind to my 2 little boys! I got some fudge for the trip home too! Will definitely make this stop every year when we're back.

We liked Mountain Treats. The fudge (made in house) was really good - we all liked the different flavors that we tried. They had pie available (made at another place close by) that we liked also. Our kids liked reading the humorous signs that they had around. One of the ladies behind the counter came across a bit pious as... More

Stopped in for fudge found out we were family! Stopped in for some fudge, got to talking to the owners and found out he was from my home town! After chatting he mentioned if I knew his family back home, turns out he is the cousin to my father in law! What a small world! He was the sweetest man... More

After visiting The Cosmos my husband wanted to take a quick drive through town. Kids wanted ice cream and we happened to park right in front of Mountain Treats. I saw an ice cream sign and purple pie so intrigued I walked in. I saw people eating large slices of pie in a variety of flavors with ice cream. So... More
