We came here for 2 reasons; several recommended it, and my nephew is a fireman. Loved the architecture, food and service. We r traveling from Maryland and can't afford to waste money on a bad choice. My wife and I had a great meal and...More

My brother ordered some beer flights, but I had the gorgonzola soup (delicious) and an ice cream cocktail which was also delish. We ate in the alley, which was nice and breezy with muted light. Good food and relaxing atmosphere.

We decided that we had to eat here because we kept hearing about it. Then we were rapidly disappointed. They clearly are too busy to clean this place. Not only is the floor noticeably stained, but the windows don't appear to get cleaned and the...More

Ate here tonight...There were 4 of us. The beer was okay, food was okay, building was awesome. Probably a tourist trap and better food to be had elsewhere.

Had a terrific meal and desserts here. Jordy and Kyle were our outstanding servers. My mom was celebrating her 85th birthday and they made her feel great. Thanks Jordy and Kyle!

While driving west through South Dakota, we kept seeing actual red fire trucks (some standing straight up in the air) beside billboards along the way advertising Firehouse Brewing Co. After checking into our hotel in downtown Rapid City and walking around to find a place...More

Reasonably priced, delicious BBQ, served in 1915 Firehouse. We had seen advertising for the restaurant for miles along I-90 on our trip into the Black Hills. We were so glad we went. We had brisket and pulled pork and both were excellent. If the weather...More

How much does a beer cost? Rootbeer?

The prices are about what you would expect at any craft brewery. No cheap stuff, but the prices are fair. Yes they also have non-alcoholic drinks and wine.

We sat on the patio. But I also doubt it as you do walk thru inside restaurant to get to patio.

Description
"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
