Downtown Bristol is very cute and they are a music town, mostly bluegrass. Machiavelli's had very friendly, attentive service and excellent food. Atmosphere is casual, and decor is a little unexpected for am Italian place. Good local vibe.

I love this place! We usually eat here once a week. The food & service are awesome. They also have a great bar & bartenders. A very fun place to hang out for the evening!

Met a friend for a few beers. First visit, loved it. Sat at the bar, owner introduced himself and was very nitro speak with. Bartenders were nice and friendly and made some nice car bombs for us. Saw an awesome looking pizza that will be looking forward to checking out on next visit.

Excellent service, friendly and a good variety of Italian food. Pizza is a specialty. We enjoyed the pasta dishes and will return for pizza some day soon.

We got a pizza to go from this place once and thought it was good so we returned to have lunch there one day. Big mistake. The place didn't look like it had been cleaned properly in a very long time. Service was slow even though the place was nearly empty. We had to shoo the flies and fruit flies... More

As a local and a celiac, it's so nice to be able to meet friends at an Italian restaurant and know that I can get a gluten-free pizza for dinner. Their gf pizzas are thin crust, very crispy, and tasty, and you can get any toppings you want. My husband has had other dishes there, and is never disappointed.

We went to this restaurant with friends, not our choice. Atmosphere is great. Food was mediocre. I had the Mediterranean Pasta. I don't eat shrimp and asked if I could substitute chicken. That was no problem but when we went to pay the bill, they uncharged for the chicken! Shrimp is more expensive than chicken! I could have seen paying... More

You can't go wrong by stumbling into Machiavelli's for pizza and beer. The atmosphere is just right without being over-crowded by flatscreen everywhere. The beer selection is extensive and full of local craft beer options. Perfect for a guy's night out.
