We noticed Bud's when we visited a restaurant next door a couple nights earlier. We’re so glad we went back to Bud’s later. On Thursday’s they have fresh oysters for 50 cents each. We were there on a Saturday and asked if they had oysters left, which they did. We got a dozen, freshly shucked, for $6, a great deal... More

Buds is the best sports bar that I know of. Love that place. Food is outstanding and prepared properly. Prices are great too. Pitchers of beer are among the best prices too. Plenty of flatscreen TV's there. Large place, but has the personal touch with friendly waitresses. Aunt Betty band is awesome there.

I was originally put off by some reviews I've read about this place when my husband suggested going here for the Thursday night oyster bar, but we went anyway. We ordered the steak dinner that was advertised. It was just ok. I've had better. The over all flavor was charbroiled... no seasonings to speak of. The atmosphere was typical sports... More

I've been here many, many times including when they were at their previous location. I preferred to previous location because when they moved the burger prices all but doubled in price. The fries are greasy. The burgers are great, but relatively expensive now. They used to be less than 4 bucks! The burgers are the best, but the stuffed mushrooms... More

We go to Buds quite often and love it each time. Great crowd, food is awesome, service A+. This time we sat outside under the covered patio. They have a mist system outside that was wonderful. Just enough to keep you cool without getting soaked. Many TV's to watch all sporting events. Free street level parking. Cheap eats and so... More

Anyone not a native Chattanoogan knows that Nooga is not exactly a culinary Mecca, and all the best places seem to be downtown. The 'burbs are generally berift of anything resembling decent food or live music, but Bud's has both. While I will say that it's not 5 star epicurian, it is, as the title suggests, the best to be... I'm familiar with this place. It's been a popular hangout spot off Brainerd Rd for years. It used to be in a smaller building up the street, but a few years back they bought this older, larger building. I hadn't been to the new building. I figured it was pretty much the same type of thing.. mainly a biker/rougher sports... More

Great food always! Love the HUGE chef salad, but everything I've had is good. You have to go thru smoking area to get to non smoking which is the only drawback. Last server I had was the best I've had anywhere. Her name is Kelly W. Ask for her. She was great!

New to the Chattanooga area, we are always looking for something new to try and decided to give Bud's a try after seeing a crowd always present there. So one Monday evening we walked in and after seeing what's in the entrance (Not Going to Spoil The Surprise for Visitors lol), we knew came to the right place. We were... More

Looking for something new and a nice day-trip, I searched the web for the "Best TN Sports Bar," and Bud's came up 1st on every search engine. Then when I saw they had 82 TV's...yep...that sealed the deal! We got there an hour after they opened, and the parking lot was 95% full. When we walked in, the patrons and... More
