The boathouse is located on the banks of the Tennessee River. It has both outside and inside seating but has views of the river from most all tables. We enjoyed a delightful appetizer of chips and guacamole/queso. The wood grilled steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly Cade's on the feedback of the 25 year old birthday boy. The vegetable pananni... More

A wonderful dining experience! The weather was perfect for dining on the riverside patio. Our dinners were delicious! I especially liked the cornmeal fried okra!

I came in town for the Ironman 70.3 event last weekend. You run past this place on the run course two times and it always looks so inviting. So after the race we came by for some cold beers and food. Loved the atmosphere, the views, the drinks and food. Highly recommend for post-race activities.

We went on Mother's Day for an early dinner (5ish). They were busy but we were seated within 15 minutes, outside on the side porch that had a partial river view. The staff were courteous and attentive. I had the fried catfish plate, and it was just what I had hoped for - light, tasty - and the tartar sauce... More

Really busy, but very much worth it. Would have loved to have eaten outside on porch with view of the Tennessee river, but we had to get to airport so we didn't have time to wait for outside table, our table got Shrimp po boys, filet mignon sandwich (1 with bread. 1 without bread...awesome!!!) Texas dip brisket sandwich, catfish plate.... More

Dinner was amazing!! Wait was long but it was Saturday night. Food was delicious except for the chowder. The chowder had a perfume taste that I didn't care for but everything else was delicious!

Great view of the steady-rolling river, the tree-lined jogging trail below the restaurant balcony, the tidy houses and park on the opposite bank. A great place to eat at dusk as the sun slowly sets behind the hills. I was advised to try the pulled-pork nachos, which was a fantastic choice. The pork was perfect in texture and in flavour,... While visiting family in town, I went to the Boathouse for lunch. We sat outside on a beautiful day - so calm and relaxing enjoying the spectacular river and mountain view! Our entrees were both specials that day - the RI Fried Clam Strips and the Gingered Chicken Salad Salad. Both were delicious! We topped our meal off with a... More

Son, husband and I came to the Boathouse for the half price oyster appetizers. We were not disappointed. Arugula salad with the ginger dressing was also excellent. All dinners were great. Not the best waitress, thus the 4 stars vs 5. Great view. Bar service was excellent.

If you want an beautiful view, love oysters and bars, this is the place for you. If you hate long waits , small portions, and just so so good .... maybe not. The place was crowded for a Monday evening but obviously very popular. We ordered the Red Fish tacos which consisted of two tiny tacos with a small bowl... More
