So, let's start with desert. It took 10 bits to figure out the ingredients of their Banana Pudding. My average is 7. All 3 of us on this adventure agreed. It is the best Banana Pudding we've eaten in any restaurant in Chattanooga. But it's not the best we ever had. I had ribs, baked beans, slaw & Texas toast.... More

We've gone a few times over the years and always feel just kind of blah when we're done. There's nothing wrong with the food, there's just nothing spectacular either. They do have good hot dogs!

If you like barbecue, this place is worth a stop. Casual atmosphere, eclectic decor, kid-friendly, reasonable prices, and...good food. A winning combo. Our toddler particularly enjoyed the treat which came with the kid's meal. I would highly recommend the baked beans as a side to whatever main dish you choose. They are seriously delicious.

We visited Chattanooga with the family and stopped by The Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe before boarding the Incline. The atmosphere was fun and eclectic. Nice casual spot for lunch. We ordered for two kids and two adults. Menu is limited, but the adult meals were really good. My husband ordered a large bowl of chili, which he really enjoyed with... More

We were tired and hungry waiting in line after visiting the incline. We heard through friends that there are some really good BBQ places around. This one is within walking distance and is delicious. We literally both ate every bite of everything . We had BBQ pork plates with baked beans and slaw with Texas toast. It was all great.... More

I have to say that the BBQ was hands down, finger licking good. I tried all three sauces (hot, original, and sweet) and they were all spectacular additions to the BBQ. Of course I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try the homemade banana pudding, and it was just as good as what my grandmother used to make. I would... More

Stopped on our trip here from Florida to see a little fall in the mountains. Did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. Great smoked chicken, amazing baked beans and pork nachos. Very clean and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back on our next trip next fall. Only thing we might suggest is maybe a filtration system for the water. Although... More

Great barbecue at very reasonable process. Friendly staff. Menu is simple, and basic barbecue dishes, but that is what makes a good BBQ spot - stick to what you do well.
