It's been a long time since I last ate here and there have been some changes/improvements. My wife and I came for a date lunch. We were quickly greeted and allowed to sit where we liked. The restaurant has been attractively divided by various lattices in places. It's nice - it give the feeling of intimacy without cutting you off... More

We were there for lunch on a Wednesday and both took advantage of the value the lunch menu offered. We both had different curry dishes. Quite tasty but nothing to make me jump for joy. I killed the budget when I ordered the squid salad appetizer for $8.95. It was quite a large amount so we shared it.Nice and spicy... More

My wife and i both enjoyed this place, which now bills itself simply as the House of Thai. It's in an older building and appears to be popular with Tennessee Tech folk. We have eaten at a number of Thai restaurants, and found the food here to be very good. I had a yellow curry and my wife had a... More

Having eaten at Thai restaurants from Maine to Florida, I've experienced all kinds of them.. House of Thai is not bad, based on the Street Noodles I had for lunch today. The first bite suggested good flavor but half way through the dish seemed bland. Service was pretty poor, and those white kids don't have the excuse Asians do of... More

It is the best Thai in Cookeville. I have had several things on the menu and they are all good. The service sometimes lacks a little.

Every time I have to come to Cookeville to get my Honda worked on, I have lunch at the House of Thai. The service can be hit or miss, but the food is always fantastic. They make some of the best pad Thai I've had. I'd be here weekly if it were not so far from home.

Great lunch at House of Thai. We had drunken noodles, broken noodles and pad-thai. They were all good. The apetizer soups could have been warmer. Come early on Friday and Saturday nights as it gets very busy.

The wife and I stop in here about once a month. We like the food and the relaxed atmosphere. If you leave here hungry it's basically your own fault because you didn't eat everything on your plate. Some of the food is over priced in my opinion, but we all know how opinions are. I will recommend the Jungle Curry,... More
