I really don't care for the bbq, but I do know several people that like it. there burgers are great. there hamburger steaks are wonderful. But there fried potatoes and onions are incredible.

Dined here with a large group of close friends to attend a dinner theatre performance by local company 'Murder Mystery Caravan'. Thoroughly enjoyed evening, food, and entertainment. Good, wholesome, country fun. Would not hesitate to recommend BBQ to others. Nothing fancy, just a perfect country setting to enjoy great food and good friends + meet new friends. Look forward to... I had a pulled pork platter. Dry pork in desperate need of the 2 BBQ sauces available - smoke and hot. The cole slaw side was good as were the beans. I'll likely give it another chance and try the brisket. I hope it was just a bad night.

My husband drives past this restaurant every day to go to work and has smelled the wonderful aromas but never stopped until this passed weekend. We were very pleased with the taste of the BBQ and the portions (especially the side items). There were only 2 choices in BBQ sauce (sweet or spicy) but both were good.

I live 1/4 mile from smokehouse. They all work hard to provide you with great barbecue , atmosphere and friendly service. The barbecue is deep southern style, pulled pork. I grew up on barbecue in middle Geargia. Too bad Tennessee does know Brunswick Stew. I had relative that made irresistible stew in huge wash pots for church outings. People came... More

We were riding bikes on the Tweetsie Trail, and smelled the smoke. We had to stop. There is a path and a bridge from the trail to the back of this restaurant. After a great lunch, we got back on the trail and continued our ride. The owner told us about special events they do on a outdoor stage behind... More

The BBQ is great, we came right around 5pm and it was full. We had to wait for a table to open up for us to get a bite to eat. The pork was good and the sauce was great. Really like the fact that we live within 5 minutes so we can enjoy it more often. Only thing I... More

My wife and I came in June of 2016. The service was great, quick and friendly. You couldn't ask for better service. For the food, I had the Smokehouse burger and my wife had the pulled pork and we both had fries. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich where my burger was OK. It was cooked to my request and... I was there this afternoon, good atmosphere and great service, I ordered the Smoke House Burger smothered with BBQ sauce, onions topped with Pepper Jack cheese it was with out a doubt one of the best I have had in the area. If you haven't tried it yet you should.

Serving really good barbecue with ample portions and really nice service. If walking or riding bikes on the Tweetsie trail this is an excellent place to stop and enjoy a nice meal. If not exercising it is worth while to drive out to the restaurant.
