I was in town for the weekend and wanted country cooking. This place is wonderful. Seated quickly. The server was exceptional and very attentive. She kept us informed of the status of our meal. I ordered fried chicken and it was delicious. The collards are good and spicy. The prices are reasonable. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Would definitely dine... More

Was expecting much better... We went during a slow time of the day and perhaps that is why the chicken was left over and rather dry. They did have very good corn and cornbread salad. Sorry, I was just disappointed in the food for the most part. Service was excellent. It was very cold in the restaurant as well. Hoping... More

Home cooked. Real biscuits. Food was great. Server was wonderful. Enjoyed our visit. Did not have to wait but visited during off time on a Saturday.

I will start with the worst part of our visit. The waitress was young and handed us a piece of chicken and a biscuit with her fingers. Yuck! Deal killer for me! If it is not a deal killer for you, read on as there are other reasons you may want to pass up on a visit to the Ole... More

We went there for Thanksgiving Lunch. They seated us quickly due to reservation. Although the food was as good as previous visits, they had hired a lot of young help who were not prepared for this large of a crowd. You have 8 veggies of which you choose 6. The 2 we eliminated were the first to be set down.... More

Old Barn has elevated themselves to the #1 family style restaurant, in the area, in my opinion. Their fresh half runner beans, corn-on-the-cob, and fresh peach cobbler are to die for. The country ham is not at all too salty, and the fried chicken is golden brown. Try it, you will like it!

This is a cute concept of a restaurant. Its just run a little funky. Upon being seated upstairs among the many, many tables, I noticed it was really just that. A room with many, many tables. And not cute fancy tables. Just ordinary wooden run of the mill country style tables. The tables were pushed together for the most part,... More

This is a great restaurant for country Homestyle cooked food. Fried chicken, steak and gravy, country ham and all the fixins'. This is a buffet style restaurant, but they bring all the food to your table. It's great for that after church Sunday lunch. Fills you up and then you can go home and go into a food coma. Definitely... More
