I was afraid this place would be packed before the Bristol Night Race nearby but it was empty for the most part. We happily placed our order for 4 of us and it was ready quickly. I then went back and ordered a 2nd large pulled pork sandwich. It's basically a simple meal- sweet tea, cole slaw and a large... More

Went for the first time last weekend. I had the barbecue sandwich and a twice baked potato. The sandwich was good and the potato was excellent! The sweet tea is good. Will be back again soon. Loved the laid back atmosphere.

I ate one of the specials but this place carries more than just BBQ. I found the sauce to be spicy (probably vinegar based) so I just put a bit on the top for flavor and enjoyed the taste of the pork which was excellent. Too full for dessert but I was tempted. Good food for a reasonable price.

Traditionally, BBQ is meat slowly cooked by smoke. I really love the stuff. That said, I ate at the Red Pig for the first time today. I have to say the staff was great. The place was clean. The pork...no smoky taste. The sauce was good, fries typical, beans tasty. But no smoke on the meat. The pork was tender... More

Ordered the plate with sandwich, twice-baked potato, cole slaw, drink. Enough meat and potato to split the meal! A little dry and not tender. Raked off 2/3 of pork, added sweet heat and regular sauce, ate it with a fork. Added same sauces to sandwich and enjoyed it. Potato was just baked mashed potato with pepper but it was ok.... More

Avoid this "dive" if you have any doubts from the looks of the place, you will certainly be sorry if you eat here! The owner took our order and appeared to be inconvenienced by us and arrogant too!. The food is over price and not suitable for human consumption. I wouldn't ever come here again even if it were the... More

Acceptable but no more. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was a hearty portion of nearly flavorless pork. It tended towards the dry side. There were 4 sauces on the table ranging from sweet to hot. That was good because they are necessary. There are much better BBQ places nearby. I'll go to one of them.

This was our first time visiting Red Pig BBQ. The food and service was really good. We may our may not be back since it isn't in our hometown and we probably won't drive 30 minutes just to eat here. But, if you are local or in town, it is definitely worth the time.

The best description for the ribs would be fall off the bone cooked in a slow cooker. If you like the style of rib. For us, it tasted like boiled ribs tastes with sauce. The sauce on the side had too vinegar and it just made things worst. I think the first warning was the cashier behind the counter recommended... More
