I was disappointed. It starts with the interior. They haven't made an effort to make it look like a British pub. The seats are uncomfortable. The food is just OK. We had blue cheese filled dates wrapped in bacon, which was very good. The deviled eggs and the shepherds pie were just OK. The selection of drinks was also not... More

We've gone here several times, and always like their fish and chips although it is not English fish & chips. It's a great take on it but American! Panko breaking, but always hot and nice portions for dinner. They have Boddingtons which my husband likes. Lovely interior.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with friends. It is located in the Old City area of downtown Knoxville. Parking is scarce on the street, but a parking lot is available across the street for $10, which is steep. (If I were in town on a good day, weather-wise, I would park somewhere cheaper and walk). The atmosphere... More

Ate lunch here last week. Turkey avocado sandwich was superb and the hummus very fresh. The turkey was not thin sliced deli turkey it was roasted.

I had the Cheesesteak Sandwich (Caramelized onion bacon jam, beer cheese sauce, mustard, hoagie roll - $14). Sounds great doesn't it? I imagined the hoagie piled high with meat, dripping in beer cheese sauce . . . Well, that's what I get for thinking. The bread was dry and I couldn't even tell there was anything in it. I opened... Went there early New Years Eve with a large family group. There was plenty of "free" street parking available, if "free" doesn't include solicitations from street people. The beer list was both extensive and very reasonably priced, at least for someone from Chicago. Smithwicks for $5? The menu was somewhat typical for an English themed restaurant, but Beef Wellington was... More

We have relied on the Crown & Goose to provide us with good atmosphere, good service, and great food. No more. Under new ownership, our first trip back since it happened has left us with one less dependable quality food experience in Knoxville. Our first clue was that the room wasn't even 1/2 full on a Friday evening we quickly... More

They have a good beer selection and the food was good. Service left something to be desired but it could have been just the one server we had. They have good happy hour drink and food specials.

Would go alot and get fish and chips, but since they sold the fish seems different and sometimes not done and the slaw is no longer any good. the service is always wonderful. Hoping they sell to someone else, Aubrey's food has always been sub par and over priced.
