This place is easy to miss. It's off the beaten path in a small building that looks like no one is there because parking is hidden at the back of the building. There is room for seating for only about 30 people in a decor...More

We heard good things about King Tut's and decided to try it. When we arrived we found it to be a small quaint building tucked away in South Knoxville. There was plenty of parking behind the restaurant and as we walked in we found we...More

The best Greek salad ever! My husband loved the Chicken Alfredo. And we topped it off with wonderful baklava!! Terrific meal and the sweetest hostess. Thanks. We will visit again.

The Greek salad is so good. The Egyptian sampler is a must try. The gyro was also great and got to try the coffee.

Very interesting place in Knoxville with a delicious Greek salad! And the decorations are definitely unique from signs with sayings to disco-type lighting. Definitely recommend! Went there with my class and had a good time

Non descript building in a not-so-thriving part of town houses a nice restaurant owner and excellent food. The Greek salad was ridiculous! Falafal sandwich excellent and Hummus to die for. Don't expect fancy. Dated decor but so worth the $.

The outside does not look like much and the eating area relatively small, but this is a quaint place to eat. The portions are large, prices reasonable, and the taste authentic.

There are also more standard options for a group member who may not have a taste for middle eastern food. This is a very small, family owned establishment. The food is cooked when you order. The Egyptian sampler plate is a great place to start...More

Went to King Tut Grill for lunch. I had the Koshari, which I heard is the national dish of Egypt. Pasta, lentils, rice etc covered with a tomato sauce. Very good and filling. I can see why it would be a comfort food in Egypt....More

I saw the article in the paper today, and I am so sorry about the passing of your dear friend. The article mentioned Seham and Kristina but not Moe. Is he no longer involved in the business? I am so curious. Best wishes. Melanie Davis

I'm thinking "Moe" as everyone always called him WAS Seham. Pretty sure it's his lovely wife trying to keep things going these days. I have always adored their salad (HUGE), their delicious and secret recipe Basboosa dessert... More
